  1. Spray cans. I wouldn't mind trying an airbrush, but , I do like the challange inherent with spray cans, (there are many, especially if you paint outdoors) it's almost like some kind of alchemy. I just like painting and working with colors, really like it , and right now cans are what I have to work with.
  2. Good work Niko, you've got a winner there!
  3. I'll take one of those 'Phat' Colas please
  4. Did you shoot them with some kind of clear or something? 'Cause it doesn't look like 'model' chrome. Anyway they look good.
  5. Beautiful. Donn, those wheels look like real aluminum, are they?
  6. I like it, I think if you were standing next to it, it would look much cooler. In 1964 someone would have made a model of it.
  7. Ya, I think they look really good, thanks for the info. I'll have to pick me up some of that paint, is it a 3oz bottle?
  8. Cool looking car Ray, I like it.
  9. I definately see potenial here, just keep working with what you have so far, i.e., wet sand the body and put some clear on it, you may be suprised. The engine looks nice, put a black wash on the front wheels, dull up that chassis, and I think you'll be suprised at the result. I like the colors you've used as well.
  10. Wow Martin, nice work.
  11. Trent, nice work! how did you get the color for the exhaust manifolds? Looks pretty real, they look textured as well, thanks.
  12. Ben, it's been right at a year since my last post on this, good timing. The snag is the front end/suspension, I don't wanna use what's in the kit and a year ago I didn't feel comfortable (have the skills) scratch building one. Scott from Speed City Resin, shows a step by step build of a nice tube front axle on his website that will work for this car, I'm gonna try that at some point, hopefully sooner that later. Thanks for digging this one up! Let me know if you score the one you're bidding on, I'd like to see it. Gene
  13. How can you not like that last shot? looks nice Jason.
  14. Very cool car, nice work, hope you get it finished.
  15. That is Awesome Niko! Outta sight man! Those decals work 'perfectly! I'm glad you waited until you got something you liked. It even looks good with the gray primer hood. And the pinstriping on the trunk is a very nice touch that fits as well. I think this is my favorite build of yours that I've seen so far. Terrific work Niko.
  16. I think it looks great, love the colors you got going.
  17. Richard, I think you crossed over into another realm with the trans cover, magnificent work! The way you have used metals on the chassis really adds a degree of realism and depth, but , doesn't overpower the rest of the chassis.
  18. What a great project and cool car, good luck Jeffery.
  19. Great looking model Chris, I too would love to see more pixs of the engine/chassis.
  20. That's 'way' cool Brian! Keep it going!
  21. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Let's see some color Richard!
  22. Looks good Richard, great job on the driveshaft. This car will shine! Are you still going with the green metallic for the body?
  23. Looks nice Tomas.
  24. If you owned this car 1:1 would you put a sticker on the dash? I wouldn't but that's just me It's gonna look beautiful anyway Richard!
  25. Everything looks great Andy, I still miss those stacks though.
