  2. This outta be one helluva project for sure.
  3. There he goes again............with another kick A build in the works.
  4. Ya know..............that's not a bad idea! Thanks Rich!!
  5. That color looks fantastic on that awesome looking Nova. Great work there Scott.
  6. Still on this one fellas. I've managed to strip most of the paint from all the parts. The body turned out pretty good and still needs some cleaning up. I ended up clipping one of the rear tail light openings at the bottom and knocked the thin strip at the bottom of the opening out so I'll have to work some fancy foot work to get that back in line but it shouldn't be all that bad. There are some parts that are missing so I ordered a spare parts kit for fairly cheap. Body paint is all stripped and ready to go... I've got the wheels and tires picked out for it now after a few days of searching. I started setting up two different stances but I like the second one alot better so I think we'll be going with that one. This isn't going to be a "numbers matching Camaro" as I'll be changing a few things up to more of a mild modified street car. I'm currently looking for a blank grille with no Z/28 or RS emblems in it. I had 'em on ebay just last night and forgot to visit when I was supposed to and lost it. Stay tuned...more coming this week.
  7. Heading over to see this one now......! Dude...wow is all I can muster!!!!
  8. Uh Oh! Here he goes again................
  9. I'll second that! I built that kit a while back and it was a real downer. You're doing some amazing work with this car Tim. Love the gloss, the details and especially that 1:1 ride you've got. RB motion stuff rocks as well.
  10. Wow !! I was wondering where you got off to. Really good lookin rig you got there
  11. First off , welcome to the forum Larry. It's great to have you here. Good lookin' project you've got yourself going here. . I will say that you're in for a wild ride with this build. I just got through with the panel wagon/ sedan delivery version of this kit and it has no headlamp or tail lamp bezels. I managed to pick up an AMT 51 Chevy to rob the headlamp bezels from and ended up Frenching those into the body. Here's the kit I used: What I started with: I block sanded it from the front and made the opening larger so I could insert some headlight buckets/ bezels into the cavity to have a mostly flush mount between body and bezel. Here's the openings after I got through block sanding them down: and after I test fitted a bucket / bezel in: NOTE: This is a perfect shot of those nasty hood hinge openings too which I filled in with black sheet stock from Evergreen shown in the pic above Here's a pic of the headlight bucket openings and the now filled in hood hinge openings. A little bit of sanding later and you could never tell they were there................ Hope this'll help you out some.
  12. What a cool story and gift. There aren't really words to describe when you give an old timer a model of something that really means something to them like that. I also haven't seen many models (diecast or not) being built with a service bed on them. Great work and tribute Riley.
  13. First off, your build looks really good so far. That engine looks awesome Mike!! Secondly.....................this has GOT to be the BEST looking Belvedere I've ever seen. Almost makes me want to build one myself!
  14. I've got a couple of different colors which won't be anything that these cars came with from the factory. It won't be anything like factory stock or anything like that but I can guarantee you that it's not going to turn into a custom build. That's for dang sure.
  15. It's cool to see something that started off like this turn out that nice. Good stuff.
  16. This looks interesting....... Looking forward to more Pat.
  17. Man thanks Rich. I appreciate that. I've got nuthin' but time on this one as it'll take me a little bit to get to that point.
  18. Good lookin' Camaro Jeremy.
  19. LOL! It's alright Rich.....I'll get another fret of this stuff if I need it. I'll spend a little money on this thing but by large I'll be using almost all of the original parts.
  20. LOL. You look like you might've got it all there Anthony. Say good bye to the paint fellas. Currently in a bath of Dot 3 Brake Fluid: and I just acquired this yesterday....
  21. Good color choice. Turned out good.
