Man I'll tell you, I get more awed every time I look at the progress on this build. This is awesome attention to detail and the construction is masterfully carried out. Keep this coming Randy.
You know for a build that only took 8 days the flaws are just part of it. I don't know if its my OCD or lack of quick building skills that get in the way but there aint no way..........no way.......I could have turned out a build that good in just 8 days. That's very clean and sharp for a build that short.
I had been wondering how to do the antenna and finally came up with stretched black sprue shot with some alclad. I installed it two days ago in preparation for an IPMS show in Houston this weekend and had to put the finishing touch on there. Thanks Doug.
Here's mine from my mid to late teens. Notice the cap gun "caps" under the leaf springs for added ride height. Wow! LOLOLOL. It was up higher before the rear end fell from the backs of the wheels in all those years at my parents house. I guess we all have to come from some where!!
and this is on her good side.........
Like I was sayin....at least yours had plug wires.............
Definitely all late 70's/ early 80's talkin' here!
Dude I've seen folks who were trying and didn't come close to this good!!! I'm with Tommy.....it aint half bad!! (it don't matter 'bout the plug wires either! At least your's has got 'em)
Thanks Carl and Greg!! Been sick for the last few days but am on the mend now. I'm getting all set for the IPMS show in Houston this weekend so progress will be a little slow until I get back as I'm prepping 3 builds to take up there.
