These guys are right Ken. Hit those wheels a little bit with some paint and you'll set this puppy off!! Those chrome pipes would benefit from a light coat of Tamiya smoke to tint them a bit to get rid of the toy chrome look. Good lookin' model bud. You did her proud.

Thanks Ira, Tom and Jim!! I have actually been thinking about this kit through the years and am happy to take it on with todays skills and resources as well as things available now that weren't back then. All I can say is that this build has been a complete blast so far!!!

And he goes with the MPC kit. I'll be looking for this WIP. I knew about this kit but had forgotten.....

Not bad from the pics. Fish eyes were common to me in the early years.....I thought painting in my dad's shop while it was raining was beneficial in keeping the dust down.

You know for a build that only took 8 days the flaws are just part of it. I don't know if its my OCD or lack of quick building skills that get in the way but there aint no way..........no way.......I could have turned out a build that good in just 8 days. That's very clean and sharp for a build that short.

The work in that engine bay is phenomenal!!!! Great job on the HVAC box!!!

I had been wondering how to do the antenna and finally came up with stretched black sprue shot with some alclad. I installed it two days ago in preparation for an IPMS show in Houston this weekend and had to put the finishing touch on there. Thanks Doug.

I recently discovered this myself as I put way too much work into fabricating fuel lines and a filter. Engine looks good Tim.

Now that looks like some work right there! Looks great. How long did that beauty take to build?
