  2. I'll add my to say that overall she's a beauty!! As far as plug wires go, and this is to add to what Niko recommended, Lex's Scale Modeling great wire available in all kinds of colors. Here's a link for you for next time: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ignition-Spark-Plug-Wire-in-Blue-1-24-1-25-Models-3FT-/120772775997?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c1e9e503d Again, great build overall Justin!!
  3. Just an idea but have you thought about a mild wash on that alternator to help bring the detail out a little?
  4. Heya JC! Man you sure do know how to make an engine do everything but run!!! That thing is spot on!
  5. Dude that is one helluva motor you've got there!!! Way to go!!! Will love to see this car on the Draglites too! Great choice in wheels!
  6. Scott: An animated hobby kit. That is wild! Pete: Wow!!! Are going to build any of that?? Matija: How old is that Trumpy kit?
  7. Turned the attention back to the motor today. Got the distributor in and the L/H bank of plug wires on... (these were a pain in the butt to do!!! Normal V-8's I can just drill a hole in the head and have somewhere to put 'em. These? Not a chance!)
  8. Man don't say that "H" word too loud!! My son would go nuts!!! lol Hope you're doin' good Fred.
  9. This thing literally jumps out off of the page at you. Can't wait to see this thing................in person?
  10. Oh ok. I apologize for not reading thoroughly. I was gonna say....... Still, it's a good looking build man.
  11. Verrrrry nice build Jim!! Your detail work just blows me away man!!!!
  12. That's Krylon? I wouldn't have guessed! I do like these old trucks.
  13. There aint nuthin' wrong with that JC!!
  14. What's the detail like on that Hino? Definitely never seen one of those before!
  15. Freekin shweeet!!! Where did you get the little cart and display case kits at??
  16. Looks to be a clean shine on that paint job there Jeff!!! Lookin' good.
  17. I like all the accessories!!! Freekin cool!!
  18. I'm convinced!!! I'll be using that .................................soon!!
  19. No but this guy has: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=93666&hl= and you can buy it here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Spaz-Stix-SZX10909-Ultimate-Mirror-Chrome-Clear-Coat-Paint-Aerosol-Lexan-/261347118598?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cd9808e06 I know no details of it's usage as of yet besides that you still have to prime with Gloss Black.
  20. I primered with Tamiya gray and then the MM Gloss Black , let gas out for a few days and then a very thin layer of alclad. No clear. I buffed out the alclad with a polishing cloth. I'm sure there are those out there that would use the clear but I'm not seeing a reason to use it. I recently got turned on to this chrome stuff called Spaz stix. This stuff looks to be the bomb.
  21. Looks like you're doing a great job on the build there Mark. I always liked these vehicles from the front. What makes me wince is the thought of having to work on that moveable roof at the dealer. I had a couple of these that just didn't want to be fixed. lol
  22. Thanks Tim! Well I used Model Master Gloss Black Enamel through the airbrush and it seemed to turn out fine for me.
  23. Now I can't wait to get all this coming together..
  24. I remember seeing that one as a kid thinking it was pretty cool alright.
