  6. Also here is a picture of my project truck I'm building. 1986 Ford F-150. Complete frame off. 460 replacing the tired 300 six. Suicide doors and a 1972 Torino GT hood scoop. Dennis
  7. Here's a couple pics of my 1954 Mercury. Dennis
  8. Excellent work going on here, Pat!! Keep On Truckin... Dennis
  9. Ford used a scoop on early Super Duty trucks {Late 50's into the 60's} that I believe that Pontiac bought from Ford or the Ford vendor to use on their Super Duty cars. Same scoop!! Ford used with the opening to the back, Pontiac to the front. Dennis

  16. I'm sure it was!! Do you still have the car? Lately I spend more time on real cars than models. Dennis
  17. Basically I was posting about not having much bench time lately. I posted pictures of why I was not getting any bench time and thought somebody might be able to use the images.
  18. This section "General" states that it is for "Model car hobby or 1:1 automotive related topics only" I posted that I have not been able to get much bench time in lately due to working on a 1:1 1970 Mustang Boss 302. It was a statement about the hobby and a 1:1 automotive topic!! According to this section this is what I did, I did add pictures of the actual engine I'm working on!! Next thing I see that it has been moved to automotive reference pictures!! Everything that was in that post was in the "General" post guidelines!! I have seen Trucks in the automotive sections, Racing vehicles in the automotive section and not moved!! I have even posted to ask other members where some topics should be posted! I have had a few posts moved that were in the sections that could have been correct where I posted them. It seems that some of the moves of posts are not necessary they fit the category!! I've been a member of this forum for awhile and building models for 50 plus years. This is just my opinion, but I believe I posted my original post in the correct place. Well enough of my rant for now! Maybe when a post is moved there should be an explanation! Especially if it fits within the topics guidelines!! Dennis
  19. Not much bench time lately. I have been helping on a 1970 Mustang Boss 302 restoration 1:1. Should be dropping the engine in next Saturday. Maybe fire it up too. I will get more detail pictures. Thought it might help anyone building this kit. Dennis
  20. Still have beeswax in a drawer of my model tool box! Dennis
  21. Any updates? Very interested in this build!! Dennis
  22. I built those also when I was a kid in the mid 60's. I don't have them anymore, wished I did!! They probably got the firecracker/smokebomb treatment!! It is great that you still have yours. Dennis
  23. Very good looking build!! Thanks for showing us! Dennis
