  6. I have one on my 1954 Mercury. I'll try and get out to the garage tomorrow and get a picture of it. Back in the day some of them had flippers, they would actually flip down out of the way. Dennis
  7. Uncle Scott & Ellen, what say you? Dennis
  8. Here is a picture of one that looks close to the image on the box. Dennis
  9. After enlarging the picture, the Van Lines tractor looks like a early to mid 60's Chevy cab over similar to the Ford C-series cabs. That's just what it looks like to me! I have never seen the kit in person. Dennis
  10. Great detail!! And on such a small scale. I built a lot of HO scale cars and trucks several years ago for a few railroad club members. I know how tedious it can be, and yours are even smaller. Looks great!! Dennis
  11. Very, very nice!! Looks great for the age. excellent build Dennis
  12. Yes leave it as is!! You can't replicate the look that truck has! It's a piece of art that should remain the way time has made it. Dennis
  13. Looks very good!! Great weathering. Dennis
  14. Have seen the real truck in person. real vinyl top with seams and chrome trim. Dennis
  15. I still have all my original redline Hot Wheels. Not bad shape, but they were played with a lot. they still look pretty good. I still remember the first one I got. 1968 Ford Mustang, Blue Fastback bought at a 5 and dime store {don't remember the exact store, also bought a AMT 1963 Ford Pickup with the camper shell at the same time} in Chattanooga, TN while on vacation. {Like it was yesterday}. I'll try and dig them out and get a few pics maybe this weekend. Dennis
  16. I think it looks great the way it is!! Dennis
  17. Yes that one is hideous!! I saw the real one years ago at the 500 World of Wheels in Indianapolis. It looked like the body work was done by a 2nd grader!! The body was wavy and paint cracked and blistered. Probably quick bad body work that didn't age well. But when I saw it really wasn't that long after the movie was made. I would have rather seen the car that's coming out as a kit!! Dennis
  18. Very sharp Cougar!!! I've got an original unbuilt 1967 to build at some point. so many kits so little time!! Dennis
  19. Thanks for the pictures. Looks good. I like it but don't need it. I've got enough to build without it. But you never know!!
  20. Love the Comet!!! Great build! Dennis
  21. Here’s a few pictures I took of this truck at the All Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA in 2012. Dennis

  24. My first car was a 1966 Fairlane XL500. it was just like the GT only with a 289 instead of a 390. mine was a bucket seat, automatic console car. Emberglow paint with Emberglow interior. Wish I still had it.
