  1. Here’s one I built from a Miller Memorabilia “kit”. Date on base plate is 1981. Rather crude, but looks decent on the shelf. Sam was one of the first resin casters that I know of, he passed away several years ago. Very nice man who offered subjects not available anywhere else. Just a very thin coat of resin backed by bondo. I built this in 81/82 when I got it. I’m sure he pulled the mold from the promo. I’ve got it “apart” just the body and base plate with wheels and tires attached to refresh it. Probably leave the original paint and redo the chrome. P.S. Sam loved his Studebakers!!! Dennis
  2. Best wishes on your retirement, Marty. Hopefully you will have more time to build!!! Dennis
  3. WOW!! I like it a lot!! Excellent build. Dennis
  4. About 5 miles from my house there is a company that sells parts and restores N series Ford tractors. They have a website. The business is called N-complete. Dennis
  5. Everyone has their own opinion. But I believe with all lines on the car the grille/shell/front sheetmetal need to match the lines of the car. Just my opinion. Dennis
  6. Any updates on the Moebius Fords. Thanks Dennis
  7. I believe it is. I got it in a big box of built ups back in the late 70's early 80's. Dennis
  8. Very nice!!
  9. I thought I would post a couple pictures of my 1:1 1954 Mercury Sun Valley. I've owned this car since July 7, 1976. I'm pretty much obsessed with 54 Mercs. I've done most all the work on this with help from some friends. Dennis
  10. Oh!! I forgot this one. 1972 Mercury Montego. Funmate came in some sort of laundry detergent. I don't know where the launcher is. Between 1/43 & 1/25. Probably 1/32 or so. Dennis
  11. I found these while rummaging through some forgotten boxes that I had put away years ago!! More to do/think about doing Dennis
  12. Good looking Bird!! Sharp build, Mike
  13. Will do. Where do you think I should post the build thread on this?? In the All the rest or in the on the workbench? Thanks, Dennis.
  14. Thanks to all that have commented on my pictures of my build of this kit!! I wasn't trying high jack this thread just wanted to show what I was doing with this kit. I need to start a workbench thread on my build of this kit. I also had posted a few pics in my workbench build of my 1954 Mercury Woody. I guess it deserves a post of its own. Again thanks for the great comments. Dennis
  15. Here's one I've been working on. Building it to pull behind the 1954 Mercury Woody I'm building in the on the Workbench section. Deepened the hull by a 1/4". The hull looked a little shallow to me. Built the deck out of wood and covered the hull with veneer. Fun kit.
  16. I believe it's (supposed) to be a 460.
  17. Very sharp! Great build, Cliff Dennis
  18. Got to get me one of those!!! WOW!! Great build!! Several years ago I built 100 or more HO scale cars &trucks for a model railroad group. They were cast by a company called Stony Mountain. So I know the skill/talent to build these small vehicles. Fantastic work, Art. Dennis
  19. WOW!!! Fantastic build Don!!! Looks great!! Dennis
  20. Whoopiekat has a decal set for the Sandy Elliot Drag Team Mercury pickup. They include Sandy Elliot, Ford,Lincoln and Mercury graphics. Also included are the hood, tailgate letters and the Mercury 100 emblems for the 1967 & 68 Mercury trucks. I believe from what another forum member told me that the hood and tailgate letters are the same from 1965-1968. The side Mercury 100 emblems on the 1965/66 are different though. So we will be able to do 65/66's when Moebius gets them to us! Dennis
  21. I believe the rear quarters are from a 57 Chrysler. Dennis
