  4. Has anybody seen one of these? It's pewter and 1/43 scale. I bought it at a swap meet probably 30 some years ago. It was the only one the vendor had. I have never seen another one. I've searched online to no avail. I thought someone on the forum may have. I know of the real car from pictures and magazine articles. Thanks for any information that anyone may have. I can't recall what I paid for it. It was/is in a plain white box with only (kit) written in pencil. Dennis

  10. Great pictures, Wayne thanks for sharing them!!
  11. In my opinion, whether it be diecast or resin if you modify or rebuild it you are probably going to use current or out of production kit parts!! So I believe they should be allowed in the workbench or under glass sections. We are building!!
  12. Well that will give us all an excuse to hit the workbench .
  13. Fine 9. Looks great!!
  14. Here's a few pictures of the progress on the AMT boat I'm building to be pulled behind the Mercury Woody. I may do a post on it in All the rest. It's going to have a Flathead Ford V8. Thanks for looking. Dennis
  15. Although the chassis is not totally correct for a 1954 FoMoCo product, I basically used the 53 ford frame for this build with some modification. I probably should have used the 56. I did use the Y-block from the 56 as the 1954 Fords and Mercs were the first year for the Y-blocks. I just used the dual quad intake and carbs for something different.
  16. Very sharp!!!!
  17. Looks like a fun build!!! I like the mismatched tires&hubcaps!! Two thumbs up.
  18. Good looking Duster!!!
  19. This build is going to be a tow vehicle for a Chris-Craft style boat I'm building using the AMT kit with real wood and scratch building. I will throw in a few pics of the boat occasionally.
