Has anybody seen one of these? It's pewter and 1/43 scale. I bought it at a swap meet probably 30 some years ago. It was the only one the vendor had. I have never seen another one. I've searched online to no avail. I thought someone on the forum may have. I know of the real car from pictures and magazine articles. Thanks for any information that anyone may have. I can't recall what I paid for it. It was/is in a plain white box with only (kit) written in pencil. Dennis

Welcome to the forum!! It's a fun informative place. Enjoy!!! -
In my opinion, whether it be diecast or resin if you modify or rebuild it you are probably going to use current or out of production kit parts!! So I believe they should be allowed in the workbench or under glass sections. We are building!!

Here's a few pictures of the progress on the AMT boat I'm building to be pulled behind the Mercury Woody. I may do a post on it in All the rest. It's going to have a Flathead Ford V8. Thanks for looking. Dennis

Although the chassis is not totally correct for a 1954 FoMoCo product, I basically used the 53 ford frame for this build with some modification. I probably should have used the 56. I did use the Y-block from the 56 as the 1954 Fords and Mercs were the first year for the Y-blocks. I just used the dual quad intake and carbs for something different.

This build is going to be a tow vehicle for a Chris-Craft style boat I'm building using the AMT kit with real wood and scratch building. I will throw in a few pics of the boat occasionally.
