Hamilton Hobbies in Hamilton, Ohio Ben Franklin's 5-10 store in Bethel, Ohio Those are pretty much the only 2 non big box stores that I know of in my area. I'm sure there's more...
I know there are some military modelers here somewhere that might be able to point me in the right direction. I'm collecting parts to build a movie car replica... but I need some razor wire... the car I'll be using for the project is 1/24 scale. I have checked on ebay and can only seem to find 1/35 scale razor wire.. is that as good as it gets? I'll probably use it anyway but was hoping maybe to find the correct scale I need. Thanks folks Jesse
This is one I would personally love to see come back in original form. My dad own's a '65 Fairlaine 500 Sports Coupe, with the original K code 289 hi-po 4spd.
I haven't worked on my Bronco at all. I need to. I need to engineer some front and rear shocks for it. And finish the bumpers, skid plates, and rock sliders.
Friend of mine has a white '03 bugeye wagon as a daily driver... made him real jealous when I showed him pictures of your build. He likes model cars and used to build them... got him wanting to find that kit, start building again and turn it into a wagon now haha
I just used Spaz-Stix in a can recently. I tried to clear coat it after I sprayed it. Looked like garbage. I decided I was going to leave it alone this time when I sprayed it on some suspension components to a kit I'm building now. Only to find out it buffs like a metalizer (I did not know this!) so I am tempted to clearcoat it again! My parts look great now but I don't want to mess them up with clear again!
I know asking for the "first movie conversion parts" is too much, but does anyone cast the more commonly available dog? from the last issue of it? Or does anyone have one I could borrow, have casted, then send back to ya? thanks!
