  1. I bought Chuck's 34 Salt flat roadster last week. Cool looking piece. Can't wait to do something with it
  2. straight 6 with wild intake and exhaust setups!
  3. That is fantastic!
  4. Gorgeous! Sounds like I need to subscribe to Hot Rod Deluxe...
  5. Ah, ok so you have the best one available... I would have assumed it had a metal supercharger. So it comes with the correct MM2 rear wheels, and 5 other wheels? I wonder what they are? I have the first two pictures you posted. I got the 2nd one first. And the 1st one just recently off ebay (hasn't made it to me yet) But it says it comes with the metal supercharger. But if it's plain other than that, it that means I'll have to search for the rear wheels again. Darn.
  6. Holy cow Greg... I browsed the forum you linked to.... I wanna join just to see you make casts and molds. Amazing
  7. I'm with ya. There's a Facebook group I'm in called 71 72 73 mustang lovers. I can't go in there very often because it makes me want to sell everything I have to get one.
  8. I know there are several different versions. Today I realized there is a version w/ the correct rear wheels that are seen in Mad Max 2/Road Warrior movie, (not the 8 spoke sunraysia wheels that are w/ the first issue, and that the car was seen with a full set of in the first movie) I'm trying to nail down which of the many versions of this kit came w/ those 10 or 15 spoke wheels that are specifically on the rear of the car. I've seen a few pics of the kit on the internet w/ those wheels. From what I can tell, there are atleast 3 different versions of this kit. 1st kit was the plain jane road warrior kit 2nd kit was w/ the metal supercharger 3rd kit was w/ the metal supercharger, photoetched parts, and dog. (big money on ebay!) Now... which of the last 2 kits had the correct "Road Warrior" rear wheels? I have the first plain kit. they're the 8 spoke Sunraysia wheels at all 4 corners. I'm going to be trying to make an "as accurate as I possibly can" version of the MM1 car and the MM2 car. I was lucky enough to win an auction on EvilBay that was a complete kit w/ the RESIN conversion parts... so I finally don't have to beg for them to be casted. Anyone have a clue?
  9. I still want a big red big block 76 Torino.... lol
  10. ^^^ I like that!
  11. The Auxier car doing a wheelie on the street is way cool!!!! reminds me of the baldwin motion drag cobra picture of it doing a wheelie on the street.. and the camaro too, which I also think was baldwin motion.
  12. Yep, getting back in is rough for sure. I got back in to it about 2012... and when I got out of it back when I was a teen, bottles of testors paint were still under a buck... not any more. So when I sorted thru my supplies, I ended up needing over $50 in testors bottles! Then all the new fangled tools that make my life easier that I discovered along the way. Needless to say, my building supplies no longer fit in a portable shoebox! Then I discovered Tamiya spray cans.... now I have a milk crate full of em! And not to mention my stash going from a mere 60 models, to over 200... whoops.
  13. Thank you very much for that info, Carl. I've scoured the internet and couldn't come up w/ that info. Glad you had the hands on experience w/ one of them. Thank you
  14. Not sure which browsers you guys are using, but I really like Google Chrome as a web browser. I used to be hardcore Internet Explorer fan... until I tried Chrome. Sooooooo much better. Especially when you install the AdBlock Free extension.
  15. It just keeps getting better! I love it
  16. You're a few years too late. That guy is long gone.
  17. Gorgeous build. I really do like it. Kinda reminds me of the hearse that Tony Stewart had built for himself a few years back. A blackwash to the grille and valvecovers/air cleaner, and maybe smoke wash to bring out the detail in the rims, along with chrome door handles/locks, and some chrome mirrors, and a wired distributor would really put it over the top.
  18. I STILL cannot find this exact trailer. All I can find are the trailers w/ the double doors in the back. I want the giant fold down door!
  19. I actually worked on the Bronco last night. I made some bars that will go on the frame for the dual front shocks. I still need to come up with a lower mount for each shock, then make coil springs.
  20. Beautifully done. I can't wait to build mine.
  21. Love the story, and LOVE the build! Great work as usual
  22. My local hobby shop (which is a preferred vendor and gets them 2 weeks early) said that they won't have it til the end of june.
  23. Not sure I've seen them to be honest. So many threads get started here... things get buried quickly.
  24. That's not a 427 Cammer. That's a '99-ish Mustang Cobra 4.6L DOHC
  25. Some of the places that I can think of off the top of my head that ship out resin stuff VERY quickly and I've never had an issue with, and would I highly recommend: Speed City Resins Morgan Automotive Detail B-N-L Resins Calnaga Castings Scenes Unlimited Altered States models (bought off their ebay store, but shipped fairly quickly) Scale Modelling by Chris Now those are only the places *I* have bought from. I did a little research on who casted what and how fast before ordering. The only place that was slow that I've ordered from is Modelhaus, and for obvious reasons. Well, them and ThePartsBox, but they're in Australia and it has to go thru Customs so I give them an out on that.
