  1. Welcome from one Mustang fan to another!
  2. I know a small local store that has several of each still in stock (last time I was in there) and they were average price.
  3. Beautiful work! I'll build mine one day..
  4. It came with a rotary engine??? wow! neat!
  5. Working on a '63 Galaxie and would love to have photo etched emblems for it... anyone know if they exist? I looked around on the internet but couldnt find much.
  6. Oh gosh, I have boxes full of gluebombs Ive bought... I just traded some in recently too... I'll have to snap some pics. Nothing super old though on my end... just anything that interests me.
  7. Late Model Restoration supply sells actual 16" versions of the TRX wheels now! Which is awesome
  8. I prefer to use rattle can because to me it's easier and less equipment to try and store but that's my preference. And what's nice nowadays is you can go to your local automotive paint supply store and if you have the original paint code or a cross reference paint code then they'll be able to mix up the original color and put it in a can for you. That is what I like to do if the off the shelf hobby colors don't suite me. Also with a can of mixed paint you have enough to do several cars. I bought an 11oz can of Silver Moss which is an early 60s Ford color. It takes several coats because it comes out thin but it looks great under some Tamiya clear. After I took the pics I realized I needed another coat on the hood Only downside is most places don't mix lacquer anymore but luckily the place I went to still does.
  9. Hmm. I have a few yellow/grimey looking windows from some glue bombs I picked up. Two that stick out in my mind are a mustang and a charger... Will have to see what fixes em. I have many types of automotive polish and plastic polish. I'll see what happens.
  10. Very nice build. But the nose and taillights indicate to me that it is an '83 or '84.
  11. The hood would be neat if you could add tiny pins to the hinges that way you can display it with the hood up, or put the hood on the roof, or lean it against the car for display. And a shredded up vinyl top would be killer too!
  12. Fantastic! Reminds me of an episode of Futurama, where they're at the spaceship/car dealer and the salesman is trying to sell Fry in to buying the Thundercougarfalconbird. hahaha
  13. Problem solved... problem staying solved! Eh, sometimes I do. I want to go back and add throttle linkage, and fuel lines to the carbs of my Crusher Camaro since they're right there sticking up out in the open
  14. I use a few different "grits" of Wizards liquid polishes... works it out quick and looks beautiful.
  15. I dig it! Love the idea of black over oxide over bmf. I've been wanting to do something like this for a while now. Good work.
  16. Good looking build!
  17. The Hump is what makes the Continental
  18. Definitely looks like a truck from Ohio! lookin good!
  19. How and why are they warping so badly?
  20. Sweet project!
  21. I had a hunch that the pegasus rotors would go over the stub of the Jeep wheels.. and I was right! So now the Bronco will have 4 wheel disc brakes!
  22. Absolutely beautiful collection of '57 Fords.
  23. Kinda funny how this car started out shiney, and you were going to build the other charger flip nose as a weathered car... and now they've changed roles.
  24. I don't really build funny cars/top fuel cars but I like the Mustang II. I'll probably get the Datsun truck for fun, and even the disco-era Nova The Chevarra Z28 is neat, but it's a snap tite kit and I'm not really interested in those.
