  1. Oh yeah. Yeah, I really love this one. A lot. Well done.
  2. Wow great choice on the color too. If you added a wash to the panel lines, and hubcaps, I'd be hard pressed to say it wasn't real! beautiful
  3. Cool build! When I was really young, I used to confuse these with the early foxbody mustangs all the time.
  4. Depending on where the side roll bar ends up, might look better with out a chop. I don't personally like seeing too much roll bar visible in the side windows. But sometimes it's inevitable.
  5. I NEED one of these in my life right now. There was a pizza joint/sports bar type place here in Cincinnati called "Chi-Nati's" and it was because it was a Chicago style restaurant in Cincy. And their pizzas looked like that... and made my life complete. Then they closed. Been wanting one ever since.
  6. I like the look! Almost looks to me that it needs to be extended in front of the rear wheels to push the cabin on the chassis forward.
  7. I like colorful cars... but for some reason I keep buying black. bad pic obviously.. but here was my '89 Mustang... after I wrecked it of course. Then I bought this Then I bought a dark gray Lincoln Then I bought a black truck... But, I keep the two tone alive!
  8. I really like this idea. Can't wait to see more. Also, I could reeeeeally use the stock front valence behind the front bumper if you decide not to use it for whatever reason.
  9. Man this is going to be wild! I need one of those fancy computerized styrene cutter things!
  10. Oooo I forgot, I can actually play in this now. I haven't worked on it in a bit, but here's something I've got cooking. Would you believe it starts out w/ this kit? Channeled the body over the frame a little. Super easy to do w/ this kit. A couple quick mock ups Found a bed I really wanted to use. Came from the Revell/Monogram T rod thing. Fixed the rear axle, which is also from the Revell/Monogram T rod thing that's been released a million times. Also fabbed up a crude suicide front spring mount. So this is sort of what final ride height will be. hopefully. As you can see I also chopped down the kit windshield a bit too. It's crude but it fits the style of this thing. I have plenty of clear plastic from the hobby shop to make a front windshield. Here's the suicide front spring mount. All front suspension and drums are from The Parts Box in Australia. Along w/ the front seats, which don't quite fit. Might have to just use one. Or figure something else out. Can't figure out what color I want it to be though. It will be a little rusty looking of course. I also am working on creating sort of a "bare" interior look for the bucket body to make it look like it wasn't just a fiberglass tub and more like a real deal.
  11. Cool! What did you use for springs?
  12. My Ford Ranger has the recall as well. Both airbags. However I keep getting the notifications saying parts aren't in for the drivers side, but they are for the passengers side.. If I'm going to take a day off work to have them repaired, I'm doing both. Plus my truck has almost 300,000 miles so I think it will keep.
  13. Saw this on facebook... really killer! I'd love to have one myself as well. I'm a sucker for 2dr Lincolns. I own a Mark VIII
  14. This entire paragraph is the best way I've heard this explained. Ever. I am the same way when I work on someone elses car. Get it done ASAP. On my stuff... not so much. I have 3 Mustang projects, and a Lincoln project. None of which are done. I keep my daily driver on the road when it needs work, but I'm in no hurry to finish the toys. As much as I'd like to enjoy them. I think as much as I enjoy it, it also frustrates me. But that's the nature of it. I've replaced so much sheetmetal on my '88 Mustang that I can't bring myself to do anything on that car halfway.. so it sits until I can do it justice. And you're right about starting and not finishing models... it does come with some level of satisfaction for sure.
  15. Would be nice if the recent reissue came with the bumpers and cool parts
  16. He sold everything and closed shop. Just saw a facebook post recently about that.
  17. I haven't done a thing to my Bronco. I've been slowly working on my Tom Daniel's Street Fighter for a club theme.... and working 60hrs a week has taken just about all my time from me.
  18. Definitely a vehicle that has been left in the woods for a while! Looks great.
  19. Jason try to PM me early saturday and remind me of those decals again... i'm working another 60hr week... so it's sleep, work, sleep, work.... lol
  20. Same here. Next time you go, if you like their beefy 5 layer burrito, politely ask them if you could get one with light beans, add the red strips, and then have it grilled. Best thing ever.
  21. 1. Taco Bell. What can I say, I'm cheap and I like mexican food. 2. Freddie's (smash seared hamburgers and frozen custard... good stuff. 3. Roy Rogers... well, the one around here didn't want to change their menu when the Roy Rogers franchise changed hands, and so they separated and became Roney's, and serve the same menu when they were a Roy Rogers. That Double R burger... mmm mmmmmm
  22. White paint with yellow createx acrylic dabbed and rubbed in to give it the aged look? friend of mine used that stuff over white paint and it looked almost identical.
  23. Wonderful build. I'll have to get the new reissue now.
  24. Gorgeous build!
  25. Very cool!!!!! That thing is in seriously great condition. Must have been a very fun adventure!
