  1. This is going to be great! Can't wait to see the finished product! I have a Nascar chassis'd project in my future as well... one day.
  2. What about the Sneaky Pete, Midnight Cowboy, and other variants that had the flip nose pete front end, and had the tow bed or step side bed? Aren't they loosely related to these original trucks?
  3. I can't think of anything to say besides.... WOW!!!!!
  4. Yes. I've bought many things from B-N-L. I've probably bought a dozen 9" ford axles, half dozen GM 350/400 turbo trannys, a dozen or so glasspack mufflers, and all sorts of other stuff. Probably the quickest resin shipper out there. There's usually a little flashing from the resin pour, and just basic casting cleanup from the part it was molded from. I really like B-N-L
  5. He was supposedly at the Columbus, IN show saturday... however I was in Zanesville, OH at the Y-city show. Last year he was at NNL in Toledo, and at the C.A.R.B's show in Dayton. So we'll see this year if he comes. I'll be at both so I plan to pick up another AMX and some photo etch if there's any left.
  6. Picked this up at a show in Zanesville, Ohio on Saturday. For a scant $10. It's missing the cool pointy hubcaps, zoomies, and a few other things which was what I was hoping it had, and some other pieces, but its mostly there.
  7. That looks great! where did you get the bumper? I've been working on making my own... unsuccessfully. I really need to start working on my Bronco again.
  8. Stunning!
  9. That might be a nice addition for when cutting/trimming BMF...
  10. Okey lives around here, so I always see him at local shows. Plus I know guys that see him weekly. I'll have to see if I can dip in on what he's got before he sells out
  11. Yeah he comes to a lot of local shows. Sounds like he's got more stuff coming out again which is cool. Wouldn't mind having another '69 AMX to go with my other 2
  12. I heard I have a build in there... I'll have to try and pick it up when I see it on the stands
  13. Those wheels are the "artillery wheels" from the Australian company called "The Parts Box" http://www.thepartsbox.com/store/index.php?page=details&prod=740&cat=32&group=14
  14. You should sell me the Torino lol
  15. Wow. dude smiles at the end like it's no big deal haha
  16. I have about 6 of those in the closet. And a few of the cabriolet versions too. Started to chop one, and turn it into this. Haven't decided on engine or anything. Bought a resin body from Altered States of the Cabriolet kit, with a tonneau cover for like a salt flat look. Sitting on Revell 32 rails, 40 ford wheels/tires, Duvall windshield
  17. I can contact some of the guys that run these shops (I'm friends with them on facebook) and see if they have any cars with those wheels on them in their shop, and try to stop in and take measurements at some point. Do you require measurements in MM or Inches?
  18. I always read that the car had the old style treaded BFG's in the front and the modern tread in the back... or maybe vise versa. I can't exactly remember now. I think that these wheels would look the best on the Interceptor. They're nice and wide and I think they'd fit the body better. The kit wheels/tires suck in too much in the back.
  19. There's 2 or 3 in my area in Cincy. ROGUE Racecars and Tin Soldier Racecars off the top of my head. What exactly do you need?
  20. Wow what a beauty! Looks fantastic! just needs a set of blue laser stripes for that added touch!
  21. First off, this kit was from 1976 and the decals were good! This is a really basic kit 1/24 kit that Monogram put out in the mid seventies that is basically a curbside kit. I really liked it when I bought it it a yardsale and saw that it was complete. So I decided that the little Porsche needed to be built box stock to honor it's yellowed and beaten box with the yellow car on the box art, that it had been in since 1976. I didnt really do anything w/ the interior, I painted it black and added a little detail to the dashboard. I just wanted it to have a nice paint job and good outside detail. Paint is Tamiya yellow and Tamiya clear. Took me about 3 and a half days just a couple hours or so per day to finish it. One thing I regret is using model masters turn signal amber for the rear lights and front bumper lights... and they don't show well on a yellow car. Oh well. I scribed rear trunk lines in it because they were non existent. Let me know what you think. Enjoy.
  22. Any color in rattle can? NICE! Welcome!
  23. Thanks, I found that earlier, but I didnt have the part number handy so I'll do it when I get home. Thanks though
