  1. Thought I'd share. I'm a big fan of Hot Rod Magazine and the Roadkill youtube series. I build a replica of the Crusher Camaro a while back and sent them pictures... and they put it in the magazine in the Roadkill Nation section! Here's the cover if anyone is wondering.
  2. I don't like the kit plastic showing at all personally because it seems the kits I have that are molded in color always look "swirly" for lack of better terms.
  3. Even Kirkey seats nowadays are a bare bucket aluminum seat, and you *can* buy covers for them, but they're not that thick... yet somehow comfortable.
  4. Neat!! I really enjoy it! A cobra on nascar wheels/tires is really good looking!
  5. Looks good. I can never seem to find one of these when I want one.
  6. Love it!
  7. I love it! Are the rear tires from the Jeep Rubicon?
  8. Mine are getting pre-wired M.A.D. distributors anyway... so... no care. Just get the essentials/basics right and I'll fill in the gaps.
  9. C'mon Greg, this is a teaser lol! With as many other pictures as you post, surely you have some more of this beautiful hot rod
  10. Wow!
  11. Looks killer! I just bought one of these recently to do!
  12. Thanks folks! I actually won first place in my class I entered the whole setup in tonight at the club meeting!
  13. That driveshaft looks much better! Alternatively you could use an old radio antenna...

    Well done. Looks great!
  15. I definitely wouldnt mind having one
  16. Thanks here's a couple pics of the race team I put together
  17. It took a long time to settle on that color combo. I didnt like it still until after I put the pearl clear on it... then I liked it.
  18. Just finished this one up. I completed a Mustang, trailer, and this truck for this months club meet theme. Truck goes together fairly well. I've had this kit for over 10 years and never found an excuse to build it until this year. Tamiya white primer with Tamiya pure white over that, followed by model masters turquoise over that for the two tone. Then a pearl clear over top of that. I used some small chrome pinstrips for the paint separation lines that I wasn't thrilled with. Truck tool box is from BNL Resins I forgot to take an engine shot, but distributor is a M.A.D. distributor. Let me know what you think
  19. Very cool!
  20. Welcome. Sounds like you have some experience in realism already doing aircrafts... should do well!
  21. Thanks! Your parts definitely help make things better
  22. I've got about 75 built, and I have nearly 200 unbuilt, and tons of rebuilders... and I got back into the hobby at the end of 2012 with only a stash of 60 kits lol
  23. Thanks, its a great color. You can make it as light or as dark as you want it seems. I'm already thinking of another Mustang build similar to this but with a wild paint job.
  24. Here's some more pics! Engine bay is finished and the decals have been applied. I've added a piece of wire to look like a wiring harness coming out of the firewall, also I cut little pieces of styrene strips painted blue, and glued them to the intake to simulate injectors, and used a small paperclip bent in a fashion to look like a fuel rail. Also added an MSD box to the fenderwell. Coil wire from distributor goes outside the engine bay to simulate a mostly tucked/hidden wiring harness/coil. Also added another wire off the throttlebody to simulate a throttle cable.
