  1. https://sites.google.com/view/polecatdecals/home Polecat made custom decals for me for this Mustang drag car.
  2. Very nice detailed build of the Revell model with the kit decals of a less famous livery.
  3. Very nice. It looks good in black
  4. BLUE OYSTER CULT. I’ve seen them several times and they still sound great and unlike bands than no longer together they could actually play at the ceremony. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Öyster_Cult
  5. No inside info on what’s going on with MBW but Harold (aka Brad) is a pleasure to work with and I’ve bought many resin kits and parts directly from him.
  6. Norm was at the ACME show last month. He emailed me his latest catalog which i did screen shots and uploaded here. Due to the cost he no longer takes credit cards.
  7. Thanks Bill for posting the hour plus long video. It was my first time to ACME so I brought 14 models as I’m not sure when I’ll be back since I’m moved to AZ next year.
  8. Thanks for posting Rich. I think this is the first one I have seen built. It looks like the IMC GT40 kit only larger with the same fitment issues of all the openings panels.
  9. Gramps46 should have more insight on the kit. Mine is boxed up in storage. I’m sure you will never hear anyone say this is the most accurate GT40 MKI available. ?. However, it’s the only one in this scale and if you never built one it will hold it’s value since the chances of it ever be reissued are slim to none.
  10. I’m curious if the standard C code air cleaner is included. This air cleaner was for the non ram-air cars which did not have the twist locks or the black or silver paint on the hood.
  11. Was MPC confused back in the day? At least Steven’s is issuing a Mustang and not a Challenger.
  12. Thanks for posting,
  13. What is the date for the 2024 event?
  14. Over 900 models were on display. Nice to see Leonard, Dave, Matt and Norman make the trip down from Maryland. I wish I had more time to find more MCM members but the time went by very quickly. It was a very well run event and a lot of vendors selling paints, kits, decals, tools and everything else model related. Here is just a sample of the high level of quality of models at the show.
  15. I packed my Thunder Valley GT40 for the ACME show so I’ll post some pictures by Sunday.
  16. See you all on Saturday. My first time going to the ACME show.
  17. :Looks great. Cool to see all the different color combinations modelers are doing.
  18. Thanks for all the compliments everyone.?
  19. Only the purists these days are going to put bias ply white wall tires on a Mach1 but they were pretty common when they were new as most came with the 14x6 inch steel wheels with trim rings and hubcaps. You see many 71-72 Mach1’s with Magnum 500’s, front and rear spoilers and side stripes that were added on later.
  20. I have built some since that picture. Some are without engines as no one at the time was making a decent 1/25 351C or 429CJ.
  21. I know on my first Mach1 I owned in the 1970’s the flat black on the hood had worn through in some spots and was body color underneath. I would imagine the larger area on the Boss 351s was the same.
  22. I’m sure you are not the only one. Although Revell seems to stick to just including what is needed to build a specific model (i.e. Eleanor) I hope the include some 73 Mach1 decals and perhaps stock 351C valve covers so modelers can make a replica of one too. If not Keith Marks and Rays kits make the decals (in black and silver).
  23. With the new Revell Boss 351 and Mach1 kits they might end up that way. ?
