  1. I am curious what your plan is for the dash. Why a decal is not provided for the gauges and speedometer is beyond me.
  2. Fabulous job. The real one is in the Petersen museum.
  3. Here is a picture of three others in various states of completion. The red one will have th engine from the 289 Cobra.
  4. Drove by it dozens of times on the way to northern NJ but never stopped there. I will stop for sure next time.
  5. Thanks for the info.
  6. Thanks. For some reason the 66 chassis does not fit well at all so I've scrapped it and will use the 67 GT350 chassis which is ten times better anyway.
  7. Here is a modified Iron Horse body that I "shelbyized" in the 80's and at some point later decided to try and undo my customizing. Anyway, someday I'll figure out what do to with it - perhaps go back to the Shelby idea.
  8. Can you post some pics of the the engine, interior and chassis of the Mach1? I'm not sure if the parts I have are correct.
  9. I'm going to use the 67 Mustang chassis (newer release) as it fits a lot better once the tranny tunnel is removed. The chassis I had was from the AMT 66 Mustang and it did not fit very well. Great deal on that find Jesse - Ron is really going to hate you ;-)
  10. It's very over rated, i.e. i would not pay more than $50 for an unbuilt kit. I probably paid $20 for this rough built up ten years ago and will do my best. It's probably a good thing it was not a mint kit or else I would have been tempted to sell it for big bucks.
  11. I think this kit preceded the Iron Horse but they are very similar.
  12. Mock up. Interior is almost done.
  13. Your next build :-)
  14. Awesome work as always. It will be nice to see it in person Saturday.
  15. I also still have a pair of Heil ESS speakers and a Dual turntable.
  16. I have the same receiver but it does not work anymore. I hate to toss it away.
  17. Keith Marks for the gauges and Fred Cady for the emblems. The Marks decals are a lot smaller but the accurate size.
  18. You are correct sir.
  19. I'm embarassed to say this is my first build of the AMT kit. It almost felt like building a 1/32 kit as it is pretty small compared to the Mustangs or GT40's that I usually build. Now that I have one under my belt I have a lot of catching up to do.
  20. The VIN numbers of the two Bullitt cars are well documented so it should be very easy to confirm the validity.
  21. Probably not the best bet for models. You would need a lot of paint and end up wasting a lot. No control over psi or control pattern either so this seems to be a alternative if an airbrush is out of the question. Model car world sells a lot of factory colors in spray cans.
  22. Last one on Ebay sold for $120.
  23. Super nice. Not too many 1/43 buillders on here. You would think that Starter would have put out a 67/68 TA Mustang. It would not surprise me if Spark does some more but it's too bad they messed up the front end. That's just laziness on their part. I'd buy some of yours too if you reconsider modeling more.
  24. Here is a picture.
