  1. You could always try to kit bash the MPC Mark IV engine into a Fujumi Mark II with some chassis mods.
  2. Too bad the list did not have a much improved 71/72 Mustang fastback and in my dreams a convertible.
  3. yeah I got there ten minutes before 9am and got in ten minutes after nine. Someone tell me again why people get there at 6:30 to stand outside in cold damp weather to get in 20 minutes before I did. Aside from parking closer that is the ONLY reason I can figure out. It's surely not to get an early bird door prize or a deal on a $150 kit that is 75% off LOL. I do not get it - some one chime in that gets there 2.5 hours before the doors open and explain your reasoning.
  4. Not a happy day. God rest her soul.
  5. I wonder what the list will look like in 20 years. Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Subaru?
  6. Cool JC. Look forward to this and the TA Cougar.
  7. Yea - four votes for a Cobra Daytona coupe. Payback for that Aprils fool joke.
  8. At 3pm most of the door prizes had not been claimed. Maybe it is time to consider another method.
  9. Leaving in six hours for a 9am arrival. I do not do lines.
  10. I remember the headers and side pipes did not line up perfectly.
  11. Looks that way (airbrush friendly) per the video but you are have to use all the paint or pour the excess back into a pen.
  12. Welcome. Come to a MAMA meeting in Greenbelt sometime. We have a great group of builders.
  13. Nobody would have outrun the cops if they had Boss 429's :-). Very nice build.
  14. true but those valve covers are pretty even if they are missing the Powered by Ford script.
  15. Some of the 68 Shelby kits have this manifold.
  16. On a related note I just bought an MPC Mustang II King Cobra kit and it clearly has a set of 351 Cleveland valve covers. Any Ford person knows the largest engine put in a Mustang II was the 302 Windsor engine.
  17. I see the word station wagon and my eyes glaze over and I would take one for free whether it was plastic, resin, hard carved out of wood or came from a bag of cheetos. I probably offended some people but my point is not everyone builds builds everything.
  18. Test fitting tires - may have to go with something lower profile.
  19. I would say this is pretty official with the HVA seal.
  20. Perhaps the stock 289 covers from the Revell/Monogram 65 Mustang. The powered by Ford did not start until a few years later.
  21. I should take Pete up on his offer from his when he signed his book. As best I can tell he promised to help me if I was going to build a Daytona coupe. I had built the 427 Supercoupe and he also signed it. $100 was a lot for a book in 1996 but it is worth ten times that now.
  22. Ready for sanding and polishing. Duplicolor 2009 Ford Edge Redfire pearl metallic.
  23. that may not be that far fetched. My neighbor Charlie probably has his contact info.
