  1. Not sure if you covered the Cobra emblems with foil. The paint will build up and be hard to remove. The respray looks much better.
  2. Found this picture on Sam Auxier facebook page.
  3. Built up on Evilbay for sale. Looks complete except for wheels and mirrors. Nice original pic is included too. Interesting the tailpipes are like the 69/70 Shelby so it may be the second version of this car with the larger front nose.
  4. Missing are 67-73 coupes and 66-73 convertibles. Except for the 69 Shelby convertible you have to rely on resin kits or scratch building. The diecast sellers like FM and Danbury Mint did a pretty good job filling some of the gaps.
  5. Legal disclaimer - I have no vested financial interest in R&M. Just passing along his info.
  6. call 410-768-3648 or email replmincomd@aol.com for ordering info. The order from states minimum $30 credit card order and $11 shipping and handling. Norm does not have a website but as most of us know he sells hundreds of other one of kind resin parts and bodies and detail parts.
  7. Thanks for listings all the mods needed to make a T/A version.
  8. Pretty much with perhaps the Revell kit for the engine or the 68 AMT kit.
  9. No complaints about the kit at all. It is weird they never did a GT500 version.
  10. Thanks for the references everyone. My google search did not bring up his website with all the great photos. I have met Mr. Auxier at Carlisle and have a reprint of one of the pics on the 71 Mustang.
  11. One more picture of the model which may be close to what the roll cage actually would look like.
  12. I found this picture last night.
  13. Any early 70's Prostock experts out there? I plan to build the fictional Minuteman Mustang but from looking at the instructions the only interior supplied is the bone stock one with the standard Mach1 dash, stock rear seats, door panels, center console, roll bar and two small racing seats. I have to assume this is a joke and the real cars ran a gutted interior with a full roll cage, one racing seat and racing instruments. The Sunstar 1/18 diecast looks more on the mark as a reference but it still appears to have the stock door panels and maybe dash. Can anyone provide period pictures or set me straight as to what would be correct for this era.
  14. This would be one heck of a scratch built profect.
  15. Here is the hood. I am on the hunt for the traction bars and drag chute.
  16. I found this buildup and a spare set of decals at Carlisle Ford swap meet.
  17. I have built one box stock so seeing what else can be done will be nice.
  18. very cool. I have never seen pictures of the interior. Thanks for sharing.
  19. Finally got an engine put in but still need to connect the molded in exhaust onth manifolds with some extra piping.
  20. Very nice. Check out some interior pictures online. Early Mustangs had lots of chrome trim, door handles, ash trays, etc.
  21. That is out of this world. Fantastic work.
  22. Very cool and the first clear one I have ever seen built.
  23. I forgot I had these stashed away somewhere.
  24. Great job and nicely detailed.
