  1. I'm going to use the 67 Mustang chassis (newer release) as it fits a lot better once the tranny tunnel is removed. The chassis I had was from the AMT 66 Mustang and it did not fit very well. Great deal on that find Jesse - Ron is really going to hate you ;-)
  2. It's very over rated, i.e. i would not pay more than $50 for an unbuilt kit. I probably paid $20 for this rough built up ten years ago and will do my best. It's probably a good thing it was not a mint kit or else I would have been tempted to sell it for big bucks.
  3. I think this kit preceded the Iron Horse but they are very similar.
  4. Mock up. Interior is almost done.
  5. Your next build :-)
  6. Awesome work as always. It will be nice to see it in person Saturday.
  7. I also still have a pair of Heil ESS speakers and a Dual turntable.
  8. I have the same receiver but it does not work anymore. I hate to toss it away.
  9. Keith Marks for the gauges and Fred Cady for the emblems. The Marks decals are a lot smaller but the accurate size.
  10. You are correct sir.
  11. I'm embarassed to say this is my first build of the AMT kit. It almost felt like building a 1/32 kit as it is pretty small compared to the Mustangs or GT40's that I usually build. Now that I have one under my belt I have a lot of catching up to do.
  12. The VIN numbers of the two Bullitt cars are well documented so it should be very easy to confirm the validity.
  13. Probably not the best bet for models. You would need a lot of paint and end up wasting a lot. No control over psi or control pattern either so this seems to be a alternative if an airbrush is out of the question. Model car world sells a lot of factory colors in spray cans.
  14. Last one on Ebay sold for $120.
  15. Super nice. Not too many 1/43 buillders on here. You would think that Starter would have put out a 67/68 TA Mustang. It would not surprise me if Spark does some more but it's too bad they messed up the front end. That's just laziness on their part. I'd buy some of yours too if you reconsider modeling more.
  16. Here is a picture.
  17. Any one have any ideas for a 1/43 shifter?
  18. Body in the "paint shop" so I'm working on the interior.
  19. Was basically a glue bomb with various pieces from the 66 Mustang and 68 Shelby I intend to build it as close to "stock" as I can.
  20. I think it's National Nameless Luminary whatever that is.
  21. Super nice job the Mustang. I noticed the running horse emblems instead of the Snake on the fenders - nice touch.
  22. Here are the The Last Detail Inc. decals (partially shown) They are on EBAY for under $7 and include two sets of stripes.
  23. Keith Marks is mofobow. Some of the old Fred Cady sheets had air cleaner engine decals (302, 251 etc.). The last detail had a decal sheet for the 69 Mach1 that you might find on Ebay.
  24. Made use of some Ebay decals I had for this scale. It came out pretty decent.
