  1. My guess is since Hobby Lobby carry’s models and paints and tools etc and some Walmart sell kits around Christmas that Michael’s has given up on carrying them. I used to check the local Michals once in a while but the model section is very small and I’m guessing not because they were not selling many.
  2. Hemings Muscle Machines is still delivered monthly and at a good price. There I probably jinked it. 😇
  3. I will be at the ModaMiami show as a spectator. About a mile down the road the same weekend is a AACA show which my 72Mach1 will be in.
  4. Either to replicate the look of the original MKIIs or some buyers will actuall drive them on race tracks. Most will probably just be added to a collection somewhere. Here is the list if Shelbys at the show. Taking centre stage, and running down the length of the Biltmore Golf Course’s 18th fairway is our ‘Shelby 101’ tribute. Laid out on a special race circuit grid you’ll find a line-up of significant Shelbys and rare cars with a Shelby history. ⁃ 1963 Shelby 289 Cobra Works ⁃ 1969 Ford/Shelby American GT350 Hertz ⁃ 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 ⁃ 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 ⁃ 1966 Shelby GT350 “Carryover” ⁃ 1963 Shelby Cobra 289 ⁃ 1965 Shelby 427 Competition Cobra ⁃ 1965 Shelby GT350 R ⁃ 1965 Ford GT40 P ⁃ 1965 Shelby GT350 ⁃ 1965 Shelby GT350 ⁃ 1965 Shelby GT350 ⁃ 1966 Shelby GT350 ⁃ 1968 Shelby GT350 ⁃ 1966 Shelby GT350 Hertz ⁃ 1967 Shelby 427 Cobra ⁃ 1967 Toyota 2000 GT Shelby Race Car ⁃ 1966 Shelby Cobra 427
  5. Www.ModaMiami.com this weekend. Think Amelia Island and Pebble beach quality show and auction but in suburb of Miami. The event is 2 miles from me.
  6. I got those parts from Missing Link resin parts a number of years ago.
  7. I saw this today. Evidently it is the first one of 67 to be built by Ford. https://www.ford.com/performance/gt/mk-iv/
  8. I’ll be following. Here is a few pictures I took in December.
  9. Thanks for posting. I build this box stock many years ago from I believe one of the original IMC ones.
  10. Catalogue sent via email to those that sent a PM. Thanks for posting here Gerry. As for shipping I do not think Norm handles a lot of small orders so on a $120 order that is ten percent. No worries about sales tax. I have been lucky to buy a lot of his parts and kits from HRM in person at MAMA meetings or NNL shows. He was also at the ACME show last year with his entire product line. So many resin casters have gone by the wayside and Norm is still at it 30+ years with how know how many thousands of satisfied customers. I am replying a little late today as I was at a car show all in Davie FL. Here is a picture for attention. I am sure you all know that is NOT Norman next to me.
  11. Try the link. Facebook is nothing more than a website. I would attach the PDF file except this forum does not allow those types of attachments. If you are still not sure or just not a fan FB send me a message with your email and I can send you the PDF price list.
  12. There is always a good turnout of car, truck and motorcycle models in the contest and of course all the military subjects, Gundam and thousands of kits for sale.
  13. You noticed that too. 😉 With the relatively inexpensive Trumpeter/Magnifer and MENG kits the $11,000 price tag would scare 99.9% of people away. At least the engine has a distributor. 🙂 https://cmamodels.com/model-kits/gt-40-mk-ii-le-mans-1966-winner/ The V-R-M 427 Cobra decal sheet that is “coming soon” is running a close 2nd for not holding my breath when we will see them for sale. It would be nice as the set looks nice and is only $15.
  14. Looks very nice. I believe that is the Revell/Monogram kit.
  15. Very nice build. I had to double up on the decals as I experienced the same issue.
  16. Did the original ones attach on the outside of the window or where they molded into the rear window?
  17. The larger online hobby stores have them listed as being in stock.
  18. Looks great in that color. Nice work.
  19. I forgot an important word. I have seen the conversion parts on Ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/293770488065?hash=item446615e901:g:r7kAAOSwD75ffUP-&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwGAFfLNVCpnvjch39vyKm9UMQYHnxOir7DKWwYfDjv937QWuUgwdNieAvvd7e5vdwrGMUHIGOqd3KdlggqGbHUBbD67cUWbS0vh1VYzccZCf8xMOdcoBjDBZgu5n7CTnNYL1em%2B41xOKJTBvejNgmPCjfsFBZPDfxttu2599XY0EyQ9195INGzqMzp3Uan9X2gRe%2F2WmvsmoH%2FK8j%2BO%2Fj079cEfJf748t3k4tdhKNiVHW77Gw226Dr%2FaTuGQ1VzirA%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR-TCgLizYw
  20. Fantastic conversion and build. I have seen some resin conversion kit and decals for the Daytona version.
