  1. Curiosity has set in, Does this kit have mechanical brakes or hydraulics? I had a 1-1 bug convertible and it had hydraulics, I heard that the converts were the only ones with hydraulics. greg
  2. I don't know what's in the re released rescue van but the chevy van kit had one. and early 70 MPC dodges had em, and the early 70 Impalas had it for the car trailer greg

Way back when I got into modeling scale didn't matter like Aurora aircraft carriers being all the same size, but when it came to cars you knew immediately the difference when You saw the Monogram 55 Chevy and the AMT 57 Chevy. Just for reference in size let's take a newer kit that has some length to it- The Mobius 53' trailer 53 feet = 636 inches 636 inches divided by 24 = 26.5 in scale length 636 inches divided by 25 = 25.44 in scale length 1.06 inch difference greg

  11. How about the net between the radiator and front bumper way back in the 1920's to catch the errant pedestrian. Caught this the other day, As far as I know there is only one roll down window on the drivers side of a Chevy Astro, Those are 2x4x8's sticking out the driver's window. Even safety devices will not save some drivers from their stupidity As a life long EMT it is interesting how safety devices have helped and hindered EMS in extrication and patient handeling at accidents greg

  24. Is this embossing powder the same that I used many years ago in printing that after you applied it to your art work on paper you ran it through a heating element and it melted to give a raised effect to the art work or letters? greg
