  2. Nothing here (addblocker) but if I look at items I may want to buy , like lawnowers at Home Depot or something at Walmart I will have an ad popup on my FB Page Not sure what I looked at but so far I have gotten popups for a gallon of Coyote Urine, a gallon of Liquid Garlic scent and a gallon of Fox Urine ??????
  3. Thanks for the info and tips . you guys are great Thanks Jon
  4. Doing a 60's style custom and want to try and paint panels with fogged edges. Never tried this before Any tips on the best way to accomplish this ? Base coat will be Createx pearl white, panels will be with Autoair transparent blue with some pearl white added. Air brush for fogging is a Paasche VL with fine tip. Thanks

  6. Interesting, hope you post pictures. After having had a 1:1 62 Fairlane and several 352/390's it looks like a tight fit. I had a 410 Merc in a 64 F100 but there was plenty of room. Talked to Fireball The carbs he is working on are for Mopar Six Packs and not correct for the Ford Holleys. He may do some Ford 2bl Holles in the future.
  7. Thanks for the responses and info. I found what I needed Thanks Jon
  8. Working on a 60 Starliner, thinking about doing a forward opening hood. I have never done hinged hoods or doors but I want to give it a try. An tips or advice ? Thanks Jon
  9. I read on his site they were in progress. Hope it won't be to long
  10. Looking for some chrome reverse wheels with center bullets or center sections with bullets. I thought I had seen some center section bullets someplace but can't find them now. I have a set of wheels but they are in the Ala Kart kit and I don't want to rob any parts from it Also looking for some detailed tri-power carbs for a 390
  11. Picked a few ERTLE Die Cast bank kits at a swap meet, Looks like they were painted and then stripped, (maybe even powder coated?) In repainting for a couple easy projects to build with my Grandsons I noticed the paint chipped off fairly easy I was wondering if I need some type of self-etching primer. Any tips? Thanks
  12. Something like these ? https://public.fotki.com/crstan/replican-and-miniat/replicas-and-miniat/100-4306.html#media
  13. Be thankful that they chose the term "Pony car" from the Mustang. If they were to be accurate the Barracuda is the first actual "pony" car and they should be called the "fish car"
  14. Muscle Car: big block V8 intermediate size car Pony Car : small block V8 (then) compact car Tuner: Little cars with "fart pipes
  15. There are two kinds of engines (not motors, motors are electric) Engines that are Hemis and engines that want to be Hemis
  16. Agreed , I seemed to get these mixed up with "side pipes" (as did others).
  17. OK OK , now should we define "lakes pipes" ? (I think we have been down this road before LOL)
  18. I was thinking all out top end not 1/4 mile. Couldn't you gear it for a 140 top end without the supercharger ? A supercharger on a Flattie in the era just doesn't seem right to me
  19. OK OK. It sounds to me that building a "Li Deuce Coupe" would be a conundrum to do. you might just call it a "Unicorn Build"
  20. In the Lil Old Lady song it said "There's a brand new shiny super stocked Dodge." Indicating to me that hat it had the "Super Stock" racing options. Not sure about "Shut Down""superstock Dart winding out in low"
  21. I don't see it happening today but in the big box stores when someone would open up a kit and leave it on the shelf the were instructed to toss it in the dumpster since it was cheaper then sending it back. I never could find out when K Mart dumped their kits so I could retrieve some.
  22. I have found what I need (so far) Thanks for the offer.
