  1. Funny that you mentioned that. Back in 67 we chopped up a 57 4dr hardtop with axes and hack saws for the scrap money. It was a a perfect car with all the trim (I think some was in a gold finish. I think it was red with a white top. No engine, tranny or title (I bought it for a penny from a guy at high school) so scrap it became. I still get a tear in my eye when I think about it.
  2. I hate talking bad about peoples custom (at least in their eye) But that looks like the back brakes worked better than the front brakes. Did a fast stop and got a stretch.
  3. Just received my order from Calnaga Castings. I needed some Holly 4150 carbs and a couple coils. They arrived promptly and look great. He even threw in a set of Dominators as a bonus. Steve is a stand-up guy and no doubt that I will making future orders from him Thanks Steve
  4. When I'm done I'm done I often (most always) find something goofy on my finished build but just set it aside and keep that in mind for my future builds. Keeping them goofy reminds me to try and not repeat it in the future. Also gives me a visual reference on how quality of build improves.
  5. Here is a few pics I took at the World of Wheels Museum a few months back (sorry for the somewhat crappy pic quality)
  6. Electric cars are not as great as they say. I have had several. They were as fast as heck and sporty but I was always dumping more money into them. Of course they were 1/10 scale RC, but they were more fun than a Smart Car
  7. It left me feeling confused and inadequate
  8. I sure could use one
  9. Looking for Tunnel Ram manifold for a Mopar BB . Want it for Holly Dominators What are m options ? Thanks
  10. Yeah, I am currently in the middle of two Mopar Super Stocks that I am trying to super detail and I need a "fun" build to break up the pressure of it.
  11. Went to the PNW Model Car Fest yesterday to check our some local builds, find some stuff for a couple of my builds and mostly meet up with other builders. I found a couple kits and some parts but what in the heck made me buy this ? The vendor said "$10" and bought it. Now I have to figure out what to do with it. Vintage Smart Car, Hot Rod or Clown Car ????
  12. Should work well. Using it on a Lindberg Petty Belevdere
  13. Thanks need one for a project
  14. What are my options for getting a 64 Ply Belvedere single headlight grille ? Seen one on ebay but not sure what kit it came from.
  15. Looks very nice. Would be interested in seeing a closer pic of the engine bay.
  16. I found out that you should NOT put on auto wax and leave it awhile. Leaves un-removable residue. Had to repaint
  17. My son seems to like taking laptop computers apart and he saves me the wiring bits. There is a antenna wire that after you strip the outer insulation off leaves you with .043 braided wire.
  18. Very nicely done. I have a 330 in the works. I hope it turns out near as nice as yours. Good information on the factory deletes. Very helpful for my build
  19. Well the best thing is that it has a Ford engine in it and not a Chevy small block. The grille shell is kinda funky. It dosen't make me want to throw up in my mouth. Might be more interesting if it was done with a late 50's Vette.
  20. Not sure what to think about this one.
  21. I know a guy that probably has a collection equal in size to that one. Same deal, never married lives alone.

    68 Dart

Thanks for the info. I have been scratching my head trying to find some
  23. I have a newer issue 40 Ford Coupe that has the "SPEE WAGON" decal and a few of the sponors decals. Maybe your is from an earlier issue.
