  1. Yeah, I am currently in the middle of two Mopar Super Stocks that I am trying to super detail and I need a "fun" build to break up the pressure of it.
  2. Went to the PNW Model Car Fest yesterday to check our some local builds, find some stuff for a couple of my builds and mostly meet up with other builders. I found a couple kits and some parts but what in the heck made me buy this ? The vendor said "$10" and bought it. Now I have to figure out what to do with it. Vintage Smart Car, Hot Rod or Clown Car ????
  3. Should work well. Using it on a Lindberg Petty Belevdere
  4. Thanks need one for a project
  5. What are my options for getting a 64 Ply Belvedere single headlight grille ? Seen one on ebay but not sure what kit it came from.
  6. Looks very nice. Would be interested in seeing a closer pic of the engine bay.
  7. I found out that you should NOT put on auto wax and leave it awhile. Leaves un-removable residue. Had to repaint
  8. My son seems to like taking laptop computers apart and he saves me the wiring bits. There is a antenna wire that after you strip the outer insulation off leaves you with .043 braided wire.
  9. Very nicely done. I have a 330 in the works. I hope it turns out near as nice as yours. Good information on the factory deletes. Very helpful for my build
  10. Well the best thing is that it has a Ford engine in it and not a Chevy small block. The grille shell is kinda funky. It dosen't make me want to throw up in my mouth. Might be more interesting if it was done with a late 50's Vette.
  11. Not sure what to think about this one.
  12. I know a guy that probably has a collection equal in size to that one. Same deal, never married lives alone.

Thanks for the info. I have been scratching my head trying to find some
  14. I have a newer issue 40 Ford Coupe that has the "SPEE WAGON" decal and a few of the sponors decals. Maybe your is from an earlier issue.
  15. I have read that after you mask it spray another coat of the lighter (first) color. It will help seal the edges from bleed thru. I have not tried this myself but maybe someone else has some input on this.
  16. The kit is said to be molded in silver

Very nice. Great engine detail. Where did you find the screen for the carbs ?
  18. Well there is a 41 Ford Woodie maybe with some crafty modifications you could marry the front end up to a 40 Coupe ?
  19. Unless it is something I really need (want) I won't pay shipping. I can't see paying almost double for a kit I could buy local. I started a facebook page mostly just so some of the local guys could trade or buy kits/parts from other locals. But so far we just BS about model building.
  20. Any more info out about these ? Due for a June release
  21. Like to keep it to 2 or 3 but at this time I have 4 on the bench and for some crazy reason I decided to build about a dozen Mopar big block engines. Two completely for two of my projects and the rest will be just main assembly in various stages of completion and painted depending on the build plans.
  22. That is what my wife sees when she looks a mine. Actually it is only about 60
  23. Being a Ford/Mopar Guy and currently building about a dozen Mopar big block engines (sort of a assembly line process for current and future builds) I have more current and future Mopar projects that I will ever build. Not to mention about 40 1964-1973 Ford kits and about two dozen miscellaneous kits waiting in the wings. For me personally there is plenty out there. There is always someone wanting a something a little differant then the current offerings but that is where the Resin market can step in. Like the man said it is all supply and demand.
  24. Bought some Dukes of Haz there when the flag crises hit. Not to far in the distance past
