  1. Gregg has addressed the problems with the magazine with a post in the General section.
  2. Morgan Brittany
  3. Sorry to hear the sad news, be there for them and by all means tell the doctor about your mother. I lost both of my parents within 21 months of each other and like you, my Mom was busy trying to take care of my Dad and didn't admit when she was not well.
  4. If I remember correctly, the E85 gasoline/ethanol blend is usually cheaper, but the gas mileage is lower, so whatever cost savings on the fill up you realize is spent on reduced fuel economy. I would check with a Mustang forum or a local Ford dealer and see what they have to say. The selling points of using E85 are helping with smog emissions, subsidizing farmers with their corn crops, and using less oil to make a gallon of gas.
  5. If you don't trade for one with JT, that trailer kit will be available next month from Tower Hobbies.
  6. Matt! I had forgotten about sending you the bumpers until I saw this, I will get them out in the mail either tomorrow or Wednesday and will get you the tracking information ! I apologize!
  7. Yes they did, a Google search should yield the pictures needed to build the truck.
  8. Revell is bringing theirs back out and Tower Hobbies shows it being available in early June. It is probably the most modern one available and if you can wait a month, then I think you will be happy.
  9. Double check with Kenny at Bandit, didn't see it on his website.
  10. I too was surprised to see that was her, but she is about to be 67 years old. I think some over exposure to the sun could have something to do with it, she was definitely in her prime when she was on WKRP !
  11. Jan Smithers from WKRP. She pretty much disappeared after that series, always thought she was as hot (or hotter) than Loni Anderson.
  12. Awesome truck, like Ace Garageguy I never seem to have the money ready when something like that comes available. I am sure you will enjoy it in Norway and will be the envy of your friends! Glad you got to have fun during your visit here and there is a ton more for you to see on your next trip.
  13. Just went through the stash and have 6 large boxes of models priced and ready to take to the show and sell. Looking forward to seeing some old familiar faces and getting rid of some models that I don't plan on building. As Tom mentioned, this is a great show with some outstanding models and a nice swap meet area, come out and see the models and get some deals on kits!
  14. Robert Palmer, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Asia, Power Station,
  15. Did you not read my post ?
  16. Have to agree with you Harry on The Kinks and would have to include Yes. Have seen them both in concert 30 + years ago and are among my favorite concerts of nearly 100 different acts I have seen.
  17. Is anybody aware of a set of resin 4wd Dually wheels (16")? I checked with Scenes Unlimited and did not see 4wd dually wheels, but could have sworn I saw a set somewhere. TIA
  18. Had traded messages with Dave at Moebius a week or two ago and he said these should be in the states by early June! I will be ordering a couple of them for sure. I was messing around with one of the 69 short beds tonight and discovered that the wrecker bed from the Revell Midnite Cowboy kit fits the wheel base perfectly and looks right at home. Just have to get with Danny at Scenes Unlimited for some dually wheels and tires!
  19. The Fiero had the 2.8 V6 which IIRC was a 60 degree engine design while the 3.8 V6 is a 90 degree engine design (think small block V8 minus 2 cylinders) and would differ in appearance slightly in scale. A closer match might be the 4.3 V6 from the Revell S10 kit, but that kit would be fuel injected. Might be time for someone to cast a 3.8 V6 !
  20. The Buick Grand National kit has a V-6; there is also the V-6 from the Revell El Camino kits ('78?).
  21. Last time I was in they hadn't marked the shelves for any new kits, so it could be awhile before/if they show up there. You can always ask someone in the department if they plan on carrying them. I suspect there will be a re-set of the model aisle soon and that is when the planogram changes for models.
  22. Nice save on an old kit. Not to be critical, but from my perspective that bed looks over sized compared to the cab. Not sure if you can cut it down a bit to be closer in scale to the cab. And I am sure you realized that the bed is from a '90's model Dodge and has slightly different body lines than that '70's model GM truck.
  23. Let's see, I was born three days before the calendar turned to 1964, so technically I would be looking at '63 models, correct? A 63 Split Window Corvette would be nice but not practical; a Nova wagon would be more practical and potentially fun; a 4WD Suburban or K20 pickup would not be very comfortable but definitely rugged. In the end, probably a 409 powered Impala as it would satisfy most requirements.
  24. That came out nice! Those Revell snap kits can build up real nice, about half of my completed builds are snappers! It's a lot more fun painting and assembling a snap kit than it is to try and do a full detail glue kit, at least for me!
  25. I will be digging out my catalog and getting what will be my final order to them. Unless they find a buyer, they will have to stop taking orders this summer to allow them enough time to ship everything and retire next year.
