  1. I will be digging out my catalog and getting what will be my final order to them. Unless they find a buyer, they will have to stop taking orders this summer to allow them enough time to ship everything and retire next year.
  2. Mrs. Ben Stiller, Christine Taylor
  3. Annette O'Toole.
  4. Not all of us have a LHS Harry, so we have to use Hobby Lobby as a source. I haven't bought a kit at a LHS in over a year, but online and places like Hobby Lobby, Michaels, A.C. Moore and some closeouts at Ollie's have been my go to places. I don't see anyone opening a LHS here in Charlotte anytime soon, given that 2 HobbyTown USA's closed within the last year.
  5. Also should mention that I was about 5 when Hot Wheels came to the market. I had already been collecting and playing with Matchbox cars when Hot Wheels came out and at one point I had over 200 of them! I am the youngest of 4 kids and I was lucky that my oldest brother and sister would buy them for me when I was young, often to keep me quiet when they had to watch me! I still have my Hot Wheels tracks, wish I still had my Sizzlers race cars and Aurora HO slot car track.
  6. I still have several of mine from when I was young. A Winnebago motor home, a wrecker and a Jeepster and boat/trailer combo. I had countless others that were left outside and rusted, but have fond memories of digging the backyard and playing for hours with friends with mine!
  7. Welcome back and that is looking very nice!
  8. They are still available, just go to the Modelroundup and you will see them.
  9. Donna Pinciotti from That '70's Show, otherwise known as Laura Prepon.
  10. Modelroundup has them, reasonably priced, and they have outstanding service.
  11. very nice rendition of the Nova! Clean and well detailed,
  12. Kinda late for your April Fools aren't ya Harry?
  13. The Chevy short bed kits (sportside and SS454) from AMT that depict late 80's/early 90's models will fit on the snap fast '96 Chevy Tahoe chassis giving you a 4wd chassis. The downside is that the truck has to be built curbside unless you carefully carve out the molded in engine/trans from the Tahoe chassis.
  14. Michelle Peiffer?
  15. To Greg's original post, my buying decisions back in the '70's were predicated on what was on the shelf at stores. The good news was back then one could find kits almost everywhere, unlike today. And as others have mentioned, despite cheap prices for kits, being a young kid didn't translate into having a lot of money for models. I mowed grass and raked leaves, shoveled snow and whatever else I could do to make money for a kit. Today, with magazines, internet, shows and more disposable income, I have become a more informed buyer, and to my wife's dismay, a bigger hoarder!
  16. That paint looks great! Nice job and I agree that it is one of the best done recently by Revell.
  17. Nice tribute build. I like the orange as well!
  18. Nice Chevelle Jim, that looks great! I am also sending wishes for a fast cure for your vision problems, I can only imagine how difficult daily life must be with double vision.
  19. Another well detailed, cleanly built model from you Tyrone! You nail it every time!
  20. something tells me we will have a flat hood for this kit soon. A set of wire wheel hubcaps wouldn't be a bad idea either. I already have some ideas floating around in my head for multiple versions.
  21. That's the second best news I have heard all week ( the first was "You're Hired" !) I will be placing an order Danny and I know I won't be the only one so you better make a bunch of them!
  22. Thanks! I will begin the cleanup promptly!
  23. After a slight detour courtesy of the USPS, just completed a trade with Jordan White. We have traded before and he is a great trader.
  24. Before the software update last year, I was able to delete old PMs in my inbox easily. Today I was in there and tried to figure out how to delete some and could not do it. I am sure there is an easy way to do it but darned if I can figure it out! Anyone know how to delete PMs? I am getting close to full and don't want to clog up the forum server with old meaningless messages! TIA.
  25. That's a smoking deal, better than anywhere else I have seen it!
