  1. I am liking this build Mark!
  2. Way back when, MPC had a long bed stepside kit, it would be a direct replacement for that fleetside bed without having to adjust the wheelbase.
  3. I got a message from Modelroundup that my Model King '69 F100's had shipped, had no idea that they were 4wd? Art, do you know something we don't?
  4. Sorry to hear that Rob, us Blackhawks fans will let you hop on the wagon if you want!
  5. What a game! So glad to see Sharp score a goal for the first time in a month, Crawford played another great game and Vermette added another game winner! To win on Monday in Chicago would be huge, a great way for the fans in attendance to witness history, and keeps the Bolts from even thinking they have a chance! If you haven't already seen the video from The Fratelli's song "Chelsea Dagger", go to Youtube and watch it. I was going to post it but it is a little racy so I didn't want the Mods getting mad at me!
  6. Looks like 40% off, which is what they usually start at when they want to clear the shelves in anticipation of new items. I will have to check around the ones here in NC.
  7. The update from Jack at Modelroundup says the Model King '69 F100 and Mobeius '71 F100 will be in next week for shipping, so the long wait is coming to an end! Looking forward to having these kits, ideas are swirling around in my head for what I want to do!
  8. If they tool up a whole new 56 F100 with a body like the 1:1, then I am in for a couple. If they drag out the old tired tool and try to pass it off as the real thing, I wouldn't give it a second look.
  9. That is coming along nicely, making me really wanting a couple of these!
  10. You are correct!
  11. Oh, make me over I'm all I wanna be A walking study In demonology
  12. Great job Chuck, nice weathering and simple details. I love how the only hubcap for the truck is on the spare tire! My Dad had a '71 F250, heavy duty beast, hope to replicate it with this kit.
  13. Girl like You- Edwin Collins
  14. Most snap kits have well detailed bodies and interiors, but no engine or opening hood, thus you can concentrate on a great paint job. They can be a great "quick build" that gets the creative juices flowing to get those stalled, full on glue kits started back up. They also are relatively cheap, most retail around $15 and if you have a Hobby Lobby or Michaels nearby, then with their coupon you can get them for close to $10-12!
  15. Go far enough and you will reach A place where the sea runs underneath..
  16. I agree, just pointed out that it is easier (and cheaper) to cast something that is already available. Count me in for 2 of the '74 Dodge pickups, I have stopped hoping that Round 2 will resurrect the molds for them!
  17. Still waiting on a first gen Scout or a D series pickup..................
  18. That looks like a direct re-cast of the MPC truck that was an annual issue back then, a little easier to do than a complete new resin master. I would still be interested in either the '74 pickup, the Ramcharger or the '93 pickup.
  19. Yes Harry, but an 8:20 EDT puck drop means the regulation game is over by 11:00, and if it goes to OT, who knows how much later it will go! I am still recovering from the OT games against Anaheim! LOL An old guy like me needs all the beauty sleep I can get!
  20. Nothing Compares to U- Sinead O'Connor
  21. Small Town- John Mellencamp
  22. Out Go The Lights- Pat Travers Band
  23. As a lifelong hockey fan, I am so glad the 'Hawks made it. The only bad thing is living on the East Coast so these games that start late (or go into overtime!) can make it hard to watch the games. Would love to see them win the cup at home, a nice tribute to their fans!
  24. It has to be a long lost cousin to the Aztek!
  25. That is looking great, nice color choices. Can't wait to see it done!
