Doesn't improve the looks of the airbrush however....

Yesterday, I set out foiling and broke the windshield header. this morning I went to remove the clamp and broke it again.

Wow! I'm really losing it, this post should be in the car's build thread. Sheesh!

It actually is a piece of applewood on a curly maple base. I’ll post another view.

It doesn’t hurt. Sometimes the trigger stays down and I have to pull it up. Not much to grab onto there. What I need is a new airbrush.

Made a stand for my airbrush.

It was a beautiful evening last night so I set up on the desk and started foiling. When I was rubbing down the strip across the header it snapped. Either I was heavy handed or that plastic is super brittle. In any case I glued it back together with a clamp to keep it straight. Well, this morning I broke it again trying to remove the clamp. Ah well, them's the breaks. Should be able to disguise everything with the foil and a dab of paint.

He is supposedly checking the shop's work to see if he wants to bring his stuff here. So far, he hasn't spent a penny.

Excellent workmanship.

1950 Oldsmobile 303. OHV V8, 303 cu.in./ 135 hp.

FTB has recently completed a 303 Oldsmobile engine. The potentially lucrative customer is still lurking around the shop. However, he hasn't spent a cent yet. The engine didn't have its turtle back carb so one was scratched using an upside down Dominator as a base.

Coming from you, sir, that is high praise.

Thank you Randy. Interior is now finished. I may repaint the steering wheel, it is too yellow. Also the body is slightly warped. Perhaps careful clamping when I glue it on will cure it.
