Fellow member Jack Lira had offered me his Howmet turbine engine after I had posted the Lotus one. Well ,today I received not one but two engines, the Howmet turbine AND the Chrysler turbine. All thumbs up to Jack.

On my bike ride I came across my grade 10 & 11 history teacher taking a walk along the river. We had a nice chat. Just to put things in perspective, grade 10 was 54 years ago.

I should have done what Andy Harbaugh did with his, assemble the body first. It is next to impossible (for an old clumsy like me anyway) to assemble something like this already painted without smudging, smearing etc. Still, other than the stance it sorta looks the part.

Things were going along nicely. I had installed the windshield. then I looked at a picture of an actual car. Lo and behold the frame is painted not chromed. So into the pond it went.
