  3. C'est beau Claude. Reminds me if this one.
  4. X2
  5. X2. Ken, are your doors reallyopen on a dark background or are the bottom panels painted black?
  6. Love it.
  7. Changed the top to a thinner, clearer "glass". Will see about detailing the decks.
  8. Thank you all for the kind comments.
  9. The top is too thick. I have to find something thinner. I also have to learn how to do magazines and newspapers.
  10. Fellow member Jack Lira had offered me his Howmet turbine engine after I had posted the Lotus one. Well ,today I received not one but two engines, the Howmet turbine AND the Chrysler turbine. All thumbs up to Jack.
  11. On my bike ride I came across my grade 10 & 11 history teacher taking a walk along the river. We had a nice chat. Just to put things in perspective, grade 10 was 54 years ago.
  12. Mazda 12a. 1.14L rotary, 100hp.
  13. I should have done what Andy Harbaugh did with his, assemble the body first. It is next to impossible (for an old clumsy like me anyway) to assemble something like this already painted without smudging, smearing etc. Still, other than the stance it sorta looks the part.
  14. It is as done as it is going to get.
  15. Here's mine. Don't know whether it is Italeri or not. The wipers must have fallen off during one of our moves.

She's lovely David. That is how I had done mine as well, only clear over the model's color.
  17. The Genealogy of car companies is fascinating, especially the early history.
  18. Things were going along nicely. I had installed the windshield. then I looked at a picture of an actual car. Lo and behold the frame is painted not chromed. So into the pond it went.
  19. Thanks Casey. I'll try and find the number of the kit. regards, Pat
  20. Excellent. I am jealous of your painting skills.
