  1. With all this handling someone broke the body. I had to "weld' some reinforcements inside. that is awfully brittle plastic. Cutting a pattern to cover the hole in the interior's rear bulkhead. Shaping the inlet elbow to fit between the two turbos. Added the other pop-off pipe. Had to install it inboard as the turbo is almost against the bulkhead.
  2. Looked that up Lloyd. I am flattered that you'd call my foundering around by that name.
  3. You guessed. Actually I spent part of the night thinking about how I am going to do that.
  4. They are called seed beads. Unfortunately I can't remember how the size works. I thinkit is the larger the number, the smaller the bead. A craft shop could tell you. http://www.fusionbeads.com/Size-15-Metallic-Bronze-Hex-Delica-Beads-DBSH0022
  5. Absolutely beautiful. For some reason, it brought back instant memories if this set.
  6. Still playing with clearances. Had to remove some ductwork off the top of the body. Reminds me of the hood on Eric McLeod's Duesenberg. Made some motor mounts
  7. Thank you Pat.
  8. More hacking and slashing at the bulkheads.
  9. A short investigation on the internet hints at there being only one rad, so two lines. Got the plumbing tools out.
  10. Fashioned some ports for the edge of the exhaust manifold. Modifying the stock car's fuel cell to fit.
  11. Decided to adapt this layout. The compressors feed into a single port on the intake manifold. The exhaust will come from two ports on the outside of the exhaust manifold. The pop-off tube will have to be redirected to the exhaust pipes. Is this one rad or two rads?
  12. Pat, would you mind telling us how you achieved that effect?
  13. X2
  14. It has a turbo so I guess I'll put it on the engine. The odds are creeping up to the 80% range of building the truck curbside and putting the engine on display.
  15. Drilling holes and adding fittings to the engine.
  16. Eric, where did you get the Brooklands screen?
  17. I am building an ENDT 673.I'd like to add the fuel injector lines but I am having trouble finding good photos or drawings. The line appear to go up , then across the top of the engine between the rocker arm covers and around the front. It is the left side which baffles me. Do they go to the top of the heads along the covers or behind the intake manifold between the runs?
  18. That is gorgeous Brian. I agree with everything that was said above. What size tubing or wire are you using for all the chassis plumbing?
  19. Aaron, it Used to be a Model T. I'm trying to turn it into a Dodge.
  20. Sleek. Clean.
  21. Yes. I trimmed around the dash after.
  22. The '25 Dodge has a split windshield with both sections opening out from the bottom. I just made the division, using half round. Added woodgrain to the dash.
  23. Here's my take on the Airfix
