Its OK Dan, I found it. I like that look. -
Funny I thought that too. A very authentic look I may add. Beautiful job.

Hey Dan, could you post you short stacked Dodge here so I can make a decision on this one - short vs long. I thought the mean short look would be good here. -
Nothing serious but a disappointment nonetheless. After reading mr68gts' post about bringing a couple of models along during his move I got all excited with the fact that there is a Meng D9R. I thought what a beautiful way to use the giftcard my daughter recently gave me. That enthusiasm got quickly deflated when I realized that it is 1:35.

Completed the firewall (adding to the existing features), the air cleaner, and added red accents to the wheel hubs. -

Worked on the firewall this morning. Found an air filter which will work. I think it is from an International. -
I second this.

Haven't touched this in about a week. Added a few parts and details to the frame. This is roughly what it'll look like. Coat of orange to the dash. -

It is a Jeep Commando. I remember building an early version. -

Made up some rad hoses. Reworked the dog house to fit over the exhaust pipe. Made a "heat shield" to hide the ungainly joint of the exhaust pipe -
Absolutely love it....and the spotless multimilliionaire's storage warehouse.

Opened up holes in the bumper and cleaned up the recesses for the fog lights. Made a driveshaft to fit. Then I realized that when I worked on the doghouse I had done so without the exhaust pipe in place. Back to the drawing board so to speak. -

Did some painting over the weekend - Frame, interior and alcladed the headlight surrounds and the Ram hood ornament. -

X2. they go as well here as they did on the Boss 351. Always like the combo. -

Looking back at the reference photos I noticed the headlights are mounted in what appears to be stainless steel plates. I made some, they will be Alcladed and applied over the square inserts I had made before. -
My daughter was in Toronto for some appointments. During a break she wandered around the area and came upon Wheels & Wings Hobby. She went in and bought me a $250 gift certificate. Neat eh?

Every time I see something like this I am impressed.

The twist is axial, front to back. when it is laying down one front corner and the opposite rear corner are up. I'll soak it in hot water then clamp it and let it cool. -

I found the original doghouse that I had cut off.so I adapted it to the new opening. Footroom has improved considerably.
