  1. You don't want anything metallic, by that I mean with flakes. Perhaps Alclad gold with dullcote or some sort of acrylic gold leaf.
  2. Very very nice trailer. Very very nice junker too.
  3. OK now, name what kind of car he had.
  4. There is one in the Pacer kit as well Bill. I used it in my Jeep.
  5. Gray is on. Now I'll let it harden then I'll try Dan's technique of wet sanding down to the rust.
  6. And the stop rod , the big end hone and the oiler support bar.
  7. Getting into the small stuff, the small end hone and the oil manifold valves.
  8. And the flat black over the rust.
  9. Well Tommy, it sure isn't a gluebomb now. Great save!

Very, very nice. Is you V12 a Partsbox item?
  11. Put some primer "rust" on. Then realized I had forgotten the inner fenders. Installed a set from yet another kit which had the hinge holders cut off. I think we're ready to start on the bodywork & paint. Will try to do something similar to what Dan Popeko did on his '41.
  12. Beautiful! Any more organized I'd be afraid of touching anything.
  13. Johan, nice build. Question : what makes an outlaw?
  14. Work on the chassis continues. I used some old TransAm wheels, the chassis from the copper kit, the incomplete Y-block in the bag with assorted parts from my bin. The '56 body jigged up to glue the fenders to it. Found a nice '53 grille along with some nicely dirty mismatched seats.
  15. There was. There is. Looking at it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/262446452924?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  16. I think this would make a neat project. I think the cab exists in resin. The bed could be scratchbuilt. Can anyone identify the make of the bed so I could look for reference photos, egineering drawings?
  17. Oh man,I loooove that engine!
  18. Thanks Ken. I think I'm back to my first selection with the separate hood. I should keep the tilt hood to do a hotrod with a monster motor. If I could find some fenders, I'd have the makings of a third one.
  19. Thank you gentlemen. Much appreciated.
