  1. Two crates have come into the shop at FTB. Looks like some big ones....
  2. You nailed it. Right on.
  3. Restripped the hood. the trim strips I had added didn't like the purple stuff so I redid them. This time with half round instead of flat stock. Reputtied the body as well.
  4. X2
  5. thanks for sharing. those Finn guys are at the top of their game aren't they?
  6. Just build up the bottom part to bring the tank higher. My tank was about that size but the box is higher like the two above.
  7. For the big block, that's for sure.
  8. Found the tongue jack on the shop trailer a bit wonky. Took a 6/32 screw and turned one end to accept the foot and the other to accept the handle. Threaded a brass insert and voilĂ , we have a functional jack.
  9. Yes, those are nice kits. I love your vise, where did you get it?
  10. It looks great to me, as does the rest of the car. If I could only get 10% of that shine on my builds.....
  11. I don't see either the outriggers or the wheels on his site. would I have to ask for them specifically? Would the wheels be 18"?
  12. That was my plan, to use the AMT lowboy. I bought a bunch of scrap ones a while back on eBay.
  13. I want to build one of these someday to hook up behind the GMC. What were the companies who made those and any hint that can help me google some info is wecome.
  14. Engine is complete. Will serve in an advertisement display.
  15. I had to redo one of the hood louver trim pieces so I reshot the hood last night. The top was good, would have been better separating the side panels and shooting them individually.
  16. You are absolutely right Tulio. If you go back to Saturday's post you'll see why, it is the one where I reglued part of the window frame, crookedly of course. I'll see about remedying that. Thanks for pointing it out.
  17. From the shalf of doom to the shelf of honour.
  18. I think this is an improvement. Thank you Mike DeRagon and Alan Barton for the tips. The diecast's headlight buckets were painted as it is a Standard. My 1:1 is a Master with chromed buckets. So I chromed the buckets.
  19. The turbos looked they had been sawed off. Made some new end caps. Repaired the broken belts
  20. For minimum detailing, it came out super. Actually there is as much detail or more than most builders do. Love it!
  21. Added some plumbing.
