I'll think of something too. -
I was "downsized" out of the company I worked for. Having almost 30 years in I could touch my pension with a penalty. I had some nice contracts early on which seemed to be every second year So one year of work, one year off sort of. Then a dry spell after 2008, so I went to work at a machine shop and a parts store. In 2011 I was approached by an agency who had a contract with my old company. Started out quite busy and now down to 2-3 days a month. I'm fine with it. With the help of the bigger contracts, I restored my '34 Chevy between 2008-2013. I cycle in the summer and snowshoe in the winter. I volunteer as the head number one chief of showshoe trail maintenance for the local cross country/snowshoe club. here's our website: http://www.kapnordicskiers.com/ . And I do woodworking. Here's some of my things, mostly all with recycled wood: http://www.woodworkingtalk.com/f13/landmans-projects-54925/ I build models as well, if you guys haven't noticed

Are the knock off spinners for the 1:25 Cobra available aftermarket? I am missing one. And the windshield frame is broken.

They are very nice driving cars, with a few quirks like all cars but nice. I saw one under a hotel canopy in 1976 or so and I had to have one. It took until 1995 but I got it. I think they look very classy.

I'm happy that you guys like it. Thank you. It is growing on me too.

I find it works better if not at 90 degrees to the floor. this way it doesn't tend to reflect and the colors are truer.

There it is, Missing Link resin kit with AMT Starliner platform and a semi scratchbuilt supercharged R4. I wish I knew what happened to the paint. All that mottling is hardly visible to the naked eye. The camera must have better eyesight than me.

My thoughts exactly. I think I'll pack all my stuff and take up another hobby.

Fairly recently, there was a post on here showing a power Wagon light gray with black fenders and M.J.Labelle construction on the door label. I wish I saved stuff when I see it. I want to share it with the sister of the original owner. Does anyone remember? thanks Pat

Niiice!Now you have TWO Corvettes.

Misha, some of the stuff is from Scale Equipment like the lathe for example. Some of the toolboxes are from the various garage kits.Quite a few things like the sandblast cabinet and the work bench are scratchbuilt. Have you seen my diorama thread?

A Studebaker Story Phase Two - The Hawk

Thank you all for the good words. I did some carving on the chassis and now the engine sits in its mounts. Made a futile attempt at a vinyl roof. Will have to start again with better masking tape. -
Has the 1925 Dodge ever been kitted or in diecast. I couldn't find any on the internet, which isn't a good sign. (I think I found enough info to attempt to build one, so I asked Michael to move it here as a project)

Oh yes, the doors. They were a pain. Good comeback Mark.

The engine is complete save for the air intake & filter. It sits further forward tn the chassis than it did as a Starliner engine due to interference between the supercharger, fuel pump and upper A arms. I'll sleep on this tonight.
