  1. I'm curious. How did you make the radiused plates at the back corners?
  2. I'd like to try that someday. I have several schematics but I don't seem to be able to associate the schematics to what Sam and others are doing here. Maybe I'm too old.
  3. It is a 1934 Chevrolet Master which you can see in my avatar. And here:http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/89965-1934-chevrolet-master-5-window-coupe/
  4. My little collection is growing. I had started storing them in a glass front cabinet in my wife's craft room. I decided to build a three tier stand to display up to four rows per shelf. I am using scrap melamine for the ladder and used maple flooring for the fronts and shelves.
  5. Started on the Lincoln 430. Drilled out the spark plug holes, the exhaust ports, the fuel line holes in the carbs. Dechromed everything. As per Christian's suggestion, I rooted around and found a junk DeSoto hemi. It'll receive the Potvin.
  6. Added the hinged hood , the running boards and valances.
  7. Thanks Christian. I found one at Kitchen Table resins. I just may do that, put the Potvin on an early Hemi.
  8. Vintage Speed it is. Thank you Ron. Does anyone know of Frontenac heads either kitted or resin?
  9. I am about to start on the next trio of engines for the display stand in my dio shop. This one will be a Latham blown Lincoln, an Ardun headed Ford and either an injected nailhead or a Potvin something, maybe SBC. What does one call a trio like that? Classic, vintage,or traditional hot rod? I'm open to eclectic and interesting suggestions.
  10. Is he on the list? I can't find the list. Where can I find his coordinates ?
  11. Tried it. I don't have anything that small. Afraid of bending the hinge. I'll remember the tip though. thank you.
  12. I think the morning sun with its shallow shadow angles is just right. This is a masterpiece.
  13. Love that interior. And the rest of it too.
  14. This is getting into Roger Zimmerman's level. This is where we all get out the little stand to put on the desk to hold our jaw. Absolutely fascinating.
  15. Thanks Charles. Unfortunately, I've alerady cut my hinge to the same lenght as the hood. I'll see about punching the pin out and replacing it with a longer one.
  16. Made up an exhaust system. Not sure whether to turn it out or down.
  17. Well worth it. thank you for sharing.
  18. I thought the interior was done until I just noticed there are no pedals. And before the clamor rises about the incorrect steering wheel, I actually intended to cut the 4 spoke and rearrange it in the shallow X. I just chickened out that's all. Made a pattern for a firewall and cut one out of .035 styrene. Added hood supports as I don't see how I could "hang" the hinge pin at each end.
  19. Skip, that is eBay talking. I buy a lot of stuff from one seller in particular and I always send him a message saying I'll be buying or have bought several items. He always gives me a combined shipping invoice.Don't use the "request combined shippinG" just contact the seller directly.
  20. Added the radiator and a hose. Added an air line to the tanks. I won't bother with lines to the wheels now. Will attempt that on a tractor someday. Added shock absorbers.
