Back on the chassis. I decided to change the car transmission which was on the engine to the one from the C600. Luckily I won't have to modify the transmission support. Is it an automatic or a 5 speed? Doesn't say on the C600 box.
Question: does a tanker have frame mounted fuel tanks with an access panel or is there a compartment for running fuel in the tank body?
More work on the interior. Mostly at the upper front. trying to make it conform to the underside of the resin cab.

Here's what I came up with using Ken Smith's article. I'll have to work on my "neatness" if that's a word. Played with camera settings as well. Hope you guys enjoy it.
After a near miss which resulted in a safety inspection, the foreman followed up on inspector Mike DeRagon's suggestion and added some angles to provide a more positive stop for the winch cradle.
Not being sure of what the bare crankshaft end looks like I printed a photoreduced flywheel. I added nuts which may be too big and blackened the "holes". The washer will raise it a bit to give it some depth.
I have this one which is the only one I've seen other than one time I saw it in a movie. They were playing it in the movie. There are some pretty good tunes on it. According to Google it was recorded in 1967, which is likely when I bought it.
Glad you are enjoying it Mark. That is the intent all along, to entertain. And to hone my techniques as it will never be done. Always adding, changing.
I know I'm in the wrong magazine for this but does anyone know if Ken Smith's series of articles on detailing model trucks have ever been put in one place?
