The car is sitting in the engine shop, waiting for clearcoating. Fabricated an induction system for the dual fours.

Added a "chrome" strip to the roof to edge the vinyl. Completed the BMF. I feel like I applied around two hundred square feet of it. Next is the clear. I don't know whether I'll brush some pledge on "à la Harry" or whether I'll attempt to airbrush it or just go with the rattle can clear.

Someone brought my lost wallet back intact. There are still some honest folk out there.

Installed front and rear suspensions and the resin dual exhausts. Started on the hated BMF.

Working on the engine among other things.Used the Starliner's basic assembly, added the resin Hawk valve covers and added two filler caps to same. Made a dual four intake using an Avanti part and a top from the parts bin. Used some of the leftover Avanti belts & pulleys to make up a supercharger drive and alternator drive.

How about that. We learn something everyday. Here I thought the difference was that the 92 had a turbo while the 71 didn't.

I found Daniel. He is OK. He has moved and is in the process of reestablishing his shop at the new place. So all orders are on the back burner, but not forgotten.

I've been trying to reach Daniel to place an order. No answer to the emails . Has any one bought anything from him lately?

Dash almost complete. The paint brings out irregularities in the casting. Luckily none of this will be apparent once inside the car.

Harold, which kit did the F code engine come from?

Added a shifter and working on the dash. I gave up on the idea of doing a woodgrain accented interior like mine had and am doing the silver/aluminum accents of the 62.

Started on the interior. Printed three sets of '64 Studebaker colors. Moonlight silver actually looks closer to what I bought than my car. So it is possible that when they repainted it they used another shade altogether.
