  1. Noticed that the 1:1 has some vent windows. So I made some. BMF'd some half round for a molding and applied it to the edges. Added some Chief Joseph door handles.
  2. I started this as a home for the phantom Pontiac V12 I just completed. It will be part of the FTB fleet. I began by enlarging the opening in the floor/frame to clear the engine. Also removed material from the front of the interior tub and a bit off the back of the dash. Will also have to modify the firewall. I would not want to be the guy doing a tune up on this.
  3. Added the windshield, headlights. BMF'd the grille bars and the headlight pods. The headlight pods weren't a successful job so I peeled the BMF off.
  4. Fascinating detail, superior workmanship. I'd like to see how you do the "fittings".
  5. I'm trying to figure this out. looks like he makes mold out of foil then pours the clear resin in there. Is the mold made by wrapping the foil on a kit lens?
  6. You sir, build the most awesome tractors I've seen.
  7. Very nice.
  8. Got these today. they are gorgeous. And... it is cheaper to ship stuff here from Germany than it is from the US. Go figure.
  9. Thank you. You can see the story and development of the dio here http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/97646-background-diorama-flatheads-to-boxers-engine-rebuilderspontiac-583-v12/
  10. Welcome. Next learning curve is learning how to juggle the HD list with model building.
  11. Loving this. Probably the most accurate 1:25 scale Model T extant.
  12. I had bought this as a special car show vehicle that FTB could use to haul and display engines. Perhaps it would be a good place for that engine, it being a Pontiac and all...
  13. Bill, do you think it would help if I glued a variable timing module somewhere on it?
  14. I was thinking about that. Most V12 are 60 degrees aren't they?
  15. Glad you guys find the background interesting, that was the intent. So it is doing its job. Which is satisfying.
  16. I do have a Poncho in mind. May need some surgery first.
  17. Thanks guys. So be it.
  18. That show sure is worth seeing. Thank you for sharing. Last time I was in Paris was 1975, so I missed a few.
  19. Started adding details to the cab. I'm debating whether the three bars in the grille should be chrome or cream.
  20. Made up a rollbar out of wire. I think it is a bit small.
  21. On eBay. They had quite the selection of 1:24/1:25 lifts.
  22. No. That is the only one.
  23. This was made out of two Mickey Thompson 389s.
