  1. Hopefully my eyes uncross before the next bench session and the squint isn't permanent.
  2. Done. Man, that is a lot of chrome.
  3. Thanks guys. Next, we have to start looking at the tank body. What you see in the "shop" photo is the tank that Terry Hymel (Superpeterbilt) sent me. I have to build the outer structure with all the doors and panels as well as the rear enclosure.
  4. Installed mirrors and horns. The bottle said Ivory. Looks like cream to me. Ah well...
  5. More and more. I wish Mr.Guthmiller was here. It'd be a pleasure watching him doing it.
  6. Here's his website for those who are interested in going to the North Pole via the computer. http://www.martinmurray.ca/
  7. I have this one. Is there anything you would like me to check in it?
  8. I have had good success with painting the part either steel or aluminum then rubbing it with Usci Van der Rosten powder. Gives it the naked steel look. The door and the fender were done like that. You can actually polish that stuff too.
  9. Evergreen, Meng nuts & some paint from the "local" hobby shop, 500 miles from here. 24hr. delivery.
  10. Started on the dreaded BMF.
  11. Completed the dash. I need to findsomething to put around the base of that shifter.
  12. He's up North, ready to leave.
  13. Working on the interior and the dash. It is amazing how bad it looks in close up. From a foot or two away, it looks great.
  14. Finished the firewall details. Marked up and installed the roof lights.
  15. Started painting the interior. Tried my hand at flocking. It was an unmitigated disaster. Added a piece of bright metal to the edge of the step in the bed and another piece of wood to the console.
  16. Very little done. Finished the wiper motor and started on a harness of sorts coming out from under the dash.
  17. Gorgeous interior. Is it just me or is the gray made with duct tape?
  18. Love it.
  19. Nice. It's neat to see it with ol'Billy as well.
  20. And meaningful too!
  21. That looks like a challenging project. But I have no doubt you'll pull it off. Nice to see there is a story behind it too.
  22. I thought the firewall looked sort of bare. Added a parts bin voltage regulator and a semi scratchbuilt wiper motor.
