  1. Okay, it's registered in here in Holland, has been imported and will have it's next checkup on the third of may this year. Not really important, but wanted to let you guys know these rigs are also over here.
  2. Open isn't typically English. Here in Holland, it's also open. Gonna do a quick check and I'll let you guys know
  3. I could be mistaken, but has the company that you work for been on tv in an episode of some show about hauling heavy loads? I believe it was hosted by a big, bearded man.
  4. License plates indicate it's a Dutch truck, probably on show at the Truckstar Festival. Never saw it on the road though, not really practical here, since truck and trailer combined can't be longer than 25,25 meters without special license and permits, so I guess it's only used for show. Lucas.
  5. Probably, the only thing you need is a pair of big rigs to transport your giant steel (fill in the blanks)
  6. He might have been lurkin' for a while, but it's strange that he posted something about your picture being on some kind of page. I'm just guessing, but I think he was trying to get you to reply here and get his flame game on because you wouldn't reply to his pm's...
  7. There's something ridiculous called a Ultima, kinda the same thing but with less power. I'd like to see this in something like a Lotus Super 7 or something like that
  8. Same problem , if I had the money, I would've thought about a way to wrestle this in my Mitsubishi
  9. Tom, if that is true, I apologize. I didn't know what a VA hospital was, and I just googled it. Kinda feel bad about myself after my posts now...
  10. Glad I'm not the only one ?
  11. Guess so, not completely sure... My english isn't good enough to read that...
  12. That engine would be lethal in some sort of kit car.
  13. I want to start with simple things, and when I'm comfortable with it, I might try my hand at valvecovers or something like that. I went to the store today to look at it, and it's smaller than I thought, but about perfect size. It would enable me to place it on my workbench without losing too much space.
  14. Looks good, what kit is this? May get one and add a R34 Skyline nose to it
  15. Hi Michael, thanks for your reply. I'm going to visit a company who sells them tomorrow to see if it would work out for me. Biggest plus is that it could be converted to cnc, which I might do at a later stage. Lucas.
  16. I've used both modelling and automotive paint, and I prefer the automotive stuff. Main benefit for me is that the stuff is available in a whole array of different colors. The metallics may not be scale, but for me it works just fine. I find the bigger cans alot easier to handle also and the paint lays down a lot smoother in my case.
  17. Hi guys. My birthday is next month, and I'm looking for a mini mill. I've read some great stories about the Sherline equipment, but I haven't seen them in Europe. With a bit of googling I found the Proxxon MF70, which is about perfect size wise. I won't be milling detailed parts for a good amount of time since I have to get back into the process again, but I wanted to know if anyone here has got any experience with this particular machine? Thanks in advance. Lucas.
  18. I got a bad cold, and I got it for free...
  19. I guess I would be a villain then... The Aston doesn't appeal to me, but the Jag is perfect in my eyes.
  20. Europe - the final countdown
  21. Starting next week as a driver and I will be taking care of a group of clients at a adult day care center.
  22. ? Is that what the English mean with stiff upper lip?
  23. I thought that the only 'hybrid' part on those was the KERS. Anyway, I hoped the high revving, screaming engines from years ago would be back, but I guess the emissions killed them...
  24. So they are going to be hybrids? Shame... I didn't like last seasons cars either, but this has ruined F1 for me...
  25. You give love a bad name - Bon Jovi
