  1. Love it! Very cool!
  2. Thanks guys! We had a "truck" class at our dragstrip, and this econobox was quite fast...I was in 1st place for the season until our track shut down. I called it "Yellow Brick Ford".
  3. Looks great Ray! You're setting a fine example for all of us that can't seem to get going....you're doing it ALL!! I also like the wooden base. Nice contrast to the bike.
  4. Nice change to see a "touring A". Like the gold with white interior. Was this built out of the box? Refreshingly different!
  5. Any progress with the '34 James? I'm keen on seeing what's next.
  6. Sure looks a lot like a custom Buick to me. Nice work!
  7. A trio of old workhorses sitting by the roadway watching the traffic drive by...
  8. Super nice build! I love that colour....and the wheels were a great choice! Very nicely done!
  9. Out for another short cruise, and saw these old beautys at the side of the road....
  10. You build very clean models. These look very nice! Too bad about the bug messing you up. I'm sure you'll make it go away, and BTW, love the colours you've selected.
  11. Thanks Ray!
  12. The grille is just a "grid" from the parts box, cut to fit the opening. The engine was detailed to the best of my ability back when. As I mentioned, this model was built a long time ago, and I'm unable to remember some of the modifications. Those stylish wheels (ha ha) came from the Revell '54 Chevy S.D. , IIRC.
  13. Built quite a few years ago. OOTB. Paint is Model Master gloss black.
  14. Love the " bus boat"! Lots of imagination going on here!
  15. So today I got some primer on some pieces.....beginning to look much better with the one colour on things. No pics today, as my camera was at home....duh...
  16. This is yet another old build of mine, so I can't remember all the stuff I did to it. I changed the original grille with some grid styrene I had. I think the rear view mirrors are from an '87 Thunderbird. I believe the paint is Model Master Chrome Yellow. Installed seat belts and a tach and swapped in a parts box steering wheel. The small block is from the AMT '34 Ford sedan and has been detailed. I got lucky with the BMF and decals..( usually my downfall). Hope these old builds aren't too boring for you guys.
  17. Awesome paint!
  18. Saw this nice Mercury M series (badged M 47) today. Not sure of the exact year...'50? Sorry for the poor quality photo, but you get the idea. I may return tomorrow to get a better pic.
  19. Love it!! The windsheild frame is very cool as is the shotgun intake! This is indeed "wicked"!!!
  20. That's a sweet Gran Torino...nice colour too!
  21. What is your plan for a rear spreader bar. Looks like you are prepping for one. The rest of the chassis looks good.
