An oldie from 1985. The '29 Ford body literally came from the garbage pail in my shop. Thought an inline 6 would be different in a highboy back then. The paint job went south, but the car won Best Interior at the 1st Canadian Model Car Nationals.
Love the roof profile! Nice work! Really nice work on the entire car. IMO , I would go with the whitewalls, as I think they're classy on this stylish car.
Was there ever such a thing offered in kit form? Has anyone modified a regular panel into a humpback? I'd love to see what's out there! Been thinking of using the Revell '37 Ford panel for the conversion. Yet another project I'll likely not get to any time soon.
I agree with Bill on this one. But with one piece body....no separate roof with fit issues! Like Bill said, 2 separate bodies.
My next choice would have been the '27 roadster. And a '32 Ford pickup with a new tool hot rod flathead with multi carbs.
You sure do nice work on your models. That's a beauty! Oddly, when I was 17, I bought a '47 Pontiac Silver Streak, which looked very much like your car.
