As much as I enjoy building model cars, I can look at this train stuff for hours. Glad you guys post your love of the hobby.

Barnes and Noble has changed in the last few years. I used to go there a few of times a year to look at all their discounted books but that has become slim pickens. Also became disappointed looking in the topic sections such as auto racing/car books. Maybe it's just the one near me but I don't go there anymore.

Lots of rain and breezy but the temp is 52. So much rain that my one dog hasn't pooped yet. He managed to run out and pee but came right back. He hates rain!

A clean sharp build. Enjoy seeing some of these older cars. Brings back memories.

I believe I bought 3 at the ridiculous price and wish I hadn't. Apparently I'm not a good enough builder to get 1 done as it's been in and out of the box several times and it won't fit together right. I know it can be done because I've seen completed ones but I keep failing.

Decorated the front yard on Friday after Thanksgiving with all the assorted lights and such. Was surprised how well it looked the first night and didn't need to make any adjustments. My irk is 2 different string of lights have some flashing going on but it works every other night and then only for an hour or so. Then they stay on steady. Goofy. Guess I should be happy they're on at all but doesn't make any sense.

You sure have a lot of patience and measures to get results. Good for you but how stupid of Amazon to ship it that way.

Weekly grocery shopping this morning. Grabbed a cart that looked fairly new and I pushed it with one hand as it rode smooth without pulling to one side and all the wheels were round with no chunks out of them. Doesn't take much to please me I guess but rarely do you get a cart that hasn't been beat to ****.

The wife made mini pot pies with our left-over turkey. Muffin sized and they were pretty good.

Glad you finished it. Your own decals look good and the entire model turned out great. I usually glue the hood shut these days. It's just gonna sit on the shelf and I detailed plenty of models when I was younger so don't feel the need to worry about it now.

You can't really tell from this picture but it's "fat boy squirrel". I fed him but he came back to the door even though there's food on the ground and in the feeder. The wife said he wants to play because he's out there by himself. Usually there are others but it's rainy and cold today. I didn't even take my dogs for a walk it's so bad out and that's rare.

Salvino's Modified kit. I've put it away and brought it out again but finally gave up as I couldn't get things to fit right. I eventually finish a model even if I have problems but this one has beat me.

And to have a little fun with Canadian geese or Canada geese...... I like to refer to them as Canadian geese so my wife can correct me because the proper name is Canada geese. Just never sounds right so I still say Canadian geese. I often wonder if there are more of them in the USA than Canada. They're everywhere!

Not to drift too far off the subject but for some reason a thought came to me how we don't hear the dreaded "turn the key to start the car when it's already running" sound. I wonder if the push button starters won't allow this. I'm not gonna test it! Now that my brain has caught up to my typing I realize the start button also shuts the engine off so there wouldn't be a chance of that old grinding sound.

How many young ones have no idea what we're talking about?

Nice job on these models. Fun to see a collection of these 1/43rd cars and look forward to see more.

Less than 3 hours sleep last night. Happens every now and then for no reason. Wake up and lie there for an hour or so and then decide to get up because I ain't going back to sleep. One of the dogs even came up and cuddled against me which usually puts me back to sleep but it didn't work this time. Now I get to feel like BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH all day but I'll make it.
