  1. Nicely done. Always thought this looked like a fun model but never bought one.
  2. Great looking model! I like that engine too.
  3. I haven't had a tomato sandwich in a long time. Summer weather is a good time for that. Maybe an onion and tomato sandwich. ?
  4. Not a follower of horse racing and not an expert on horses but can't help seeing all the news stories lately about many race horses having problems and being euthanized. Just a shame.
  5. I've built some Masterbox figures myself. They have a nice selection. You did real good and yes, the shading and highlighting is something I'll never do well but I agree that your figures will look good in a diorama.
  6. Really enjoy seeing an old price sticker on these classic kits.
  7. Great looking replica and I agree with the comments about the real pictures. Never would've believed this existed without them and it supports your modeling skills.
  8. I have no interest in this car but your model looks great. Very nice to look at a job well done. Sharp!
  9. Yep, sometimes it's fun to just build a model without trying to be realistic. Thanks for sharing.
  10. Excellent! And those figures have to be real small.
  11. Excellent looking model! I remember building this kit and it wasn't good. All the added effort he did created a very nice car from a crappy base.
  12. Your model turned out great! I remember when this first came out and I was so upset about the engine not being a Ford that I wrote to Monogram. I've walked away from a model and come back several times as you did and it sometimes takes years to finally finish it. You did good!
  13. Looks fun. A lot of work but I'm sure you're enjoying it.
  14. Always fun to see cats and dogs living together.
  15. That looks real nice! Always admire modelers that build big projects like this. Lots of work.
  16. Good. I'm past ready for another issue!
  17. This looked like a fun kit to do with the added figures and setting. LOTS of chrome and LOTS of scraping before gluing but surprisingly it went together well. Some fiddling and test fitting to make sure everything fit but I got it done. Trying to find pictures of the real car ended up with several variations so I just decided to paint it how I wanted using an old can of Model Master sublime green.

I guess this would be the right place to put this even though it's not NASCAR but it's oval related. This is not a very good kit as many know but I tried to do some different things to make it better but my skills will only allow so much. Kind of a Supermodified so anything goes. Paint is Tamiya AS-5 light blue.
  19. Tamiya model of the 1971 Monte Carlo rally winner. An enjoyable build and the decals worked well. Used Tamiya TS-54 light metallic blue.
  20. Enjoyed building this as a simple drag car using Testors black for the body.
  21. The Beverley Hillbilly car could be fun if it comes with lots of add-on stuff. Don't know much about the kit but I'd buy it if it's somewhat true to the tv car.
  22. I want more reviews. I really enjoy reading about model kits I don't plan on buying but more important are the kits I will buy because of the review. These reviews have saved me money and disappointment to NOT buy a kit but have swayed me into buying others.
  23. Don't think I've ever seen a Stratos as a passenger car. Nice looking and I think your diorama is excellent.
  24. No such thing as guilty pleasure with ZZ Top music!
