Great looking model! Could you tell us which color of Tamiya the green is and where you got the decals? I have one in my stash too and you've inspired me to dig it out.
Thanks guys. I'll look closer now that you've guided me toward it. Now I'll just have to be smart enough to attach them in the right place but guessing someone will have pictures of a completed model before I get that far.
Looking at my Ryan Blaney kit I'm not seeing the dashboard. I seem to recall an electronics box in a previous build I did of the Camaro. Maybe I'm just old and dumb but looking at the instruction sheet and the parts trees I don't see anything new jumping out at me.
I enjoyed your story. As a side note, growing up listening to the Beatles I sometimes forget that not everyone knows the Beatles and their songs like I do.
Don't even need to watch the video to know what you're talking about. I don't watch any police, detective, or who-dunnit shows but Baretta was an exception.
Looks pretty good to me. A very clean build and all those old cars weren't immaculate anyway so you can get away with a paint job like this. Always wanted to try a brush paint job like you've done but haven't been brave enough.
Looks real nice so far. I built some 1/43rd metal kits when I was younger and enjoyed them for something different. I look forward to the finished model.
I had one roll off a table when I was a kid so ever since then I glue the wheels. Entered a contest at a hobby shop sometime after that and the owner of the shop pointed out my wheels don't roll so I was marked down for that.
The drinking and smoking was a funny addition to the marionettes. If you watch any 60's tv show that was the norm so why shouldn't it apply to this show except it was for kids. ?
