  1. Yep, same here. Works for a couple of days then doesn't again. Guess this is the way it's gonna be.
  2. The real car always looked like a beast to me. You did a great job with this as a gasser. Good looking colors you chose and overall look is just right.
  3. Looks like a real oval racer to me. Always interesting to read what a modeler started with and changes you made.
  4. That looks real good and the interior looks like you did a lot of detail painting. Pictures never give us a clear view of all the work involved.
  5. I like these old simple Monogram roadsters to build once in awhile. This is Jack McGrath from the 1954 Indy 500 using Indycal decals and Rust-Oleum ivory paint. Changed the exhaust exit and altered the pipe a bit otherwise it's fairly close enough for me to not bother with anything else.
  6. I like your choice of colors and the terrific paint job.
  7. Those are really nice and I like your "trick" photography.
  8. That is a great looking model! Very nice job!
  9. Tamiya kit of the 2002 WRC year with Marcus Gronholm as the driver. Painted with Tamiya TS17 gloss aluminum. Typical well engineered kit but the decals were a bit old so had some trouble with some of them.

    BMW Isetta

Revell 1/16th scale painted with Tamiya brilliant blue and pure white. Very nice kit that went together well. The front door opens but the steering mechanism was very finicky so I'm just leaving it closed once I finally got it all together.

    VW Van

This is the Airfix "snap" VW camper van that is similar to a Lego toy. Thought I'd have a little fun and build one of these and use some figures I had. Did a bit of detail painting but otherwise it's out of the box.
  12. Real nice job. Just got this kit and hope to somewhat replicate my Renegade from back when.
  13. Lot of graphics but looks like you've got it down. Good to hear they lay down well as it makes for a more enjoyable build. Nice work!
  14. That looks great! The garage is amazing also. Enjoyed looking at this very much.
  15. I don't build trucks but this one is immediately recognized as a classic. You would think there might be a market for vintage big rigs and I might even be tempted to build one like this.
  16. Always liked this car and you built a great looking replica.
  17. Wow, that looks great! Wouldn't have known it was 1/32nd scale. Nice work!
  18. Well, it was working right for a few days. <sigh>
  19. Nice "little" job on this!
  20. Tried to put a "sad" icon on your post but it's not working again. But I am sad to hear about this. 16 years is pretty good but I know from our loss of pet dogs you want them to live forever.
  21. The "skinning" happened to me this morning with a few month old bottle of Testors red. Broke through the layer and had some thick paint. What a waste. I prefer Tamiya paints but I use Testors to match a spray I used for touch-up and it just gives me more choices.
  22. Enjoyed his career when I first saw him on The Outer Limits, then The Great Escape and of course, Man from U.N.C.L.E. My wife is a huge fan of NCIS and really liked him in that. I don't watch that show so will enjoy my memories of his past acting.
  23. Yes, I've had this experience too. It seems to vary with the colors for me.
  24. And Mr. Douglas seems to be the only one dealing with reality. Makes it fun to watch as you're thinking "I'm right there with ya". I always liked Ralph. What the......
  25. The board is working as it used to for me today. The "like" button, can change pages, and the cursor previews the subject when I wave it above.
