Thank you! I'm happy with the outcome. The paint job isn't perfect in my eyes, I just need more practice and experience in all aspects of a paint job from prep to priming to wet sanding. This is my 4th build. However, I never expected the color to look this good Lol! It's a great blue. I highly recommend it!

Love following your builds. Everything is perfect!

Love the color combo. Great job, paint looks amazing.

Looking good! Looking forward to seeing how the body turns out with the clear and wet sanding!

Thank you! And yes, here is the booth I've been using. I am no expert but this seems to be working. I've gotten some great advice from users on this forum about putting a booth together. I'm using a plastic bin with a bilge blower attached. Works good with the over spray, fumes are still a small issue since I'm spraying duplicolor from the can, but it's nothing that an open door can not fix.

Fseva - yes it's the same kit. Good to know I'm not the only one having some issues with them! Eventhough most of my issue is being new and not having experience Lol! Casey & afx - Thank you guys for the knowledge! I actually was able to peel the decal off and I'm going to leave it that way, clear coat and a polish and I will be able to finish this model. I'm going to buy some solution for future builds. I did some research and wish I knew about that earlier! Lesson learned! I can always build another Camaro down the road. Thank you guys!

Decals also had this look to it,I'm sure it is because I didn't use any solution. Going to pick some up for my next build. I'm not to worried about the stripes on this one because I actually kind of like it without them Thank you for the advice.

So I went to add the decals on my camaro before the clear coat and they did not go in as smooth as planned. There are some wrinkles in the stripes that I can't seem to get out. Will clear coating over help hide the wrinkles at all? Or am I better off taking the decals off the car for a better look instead of wrinkly decals on a paint job. Is it too late to take the decals off? Still very new to model building and decals are very frustrating! Any advice is much appreciated! Thank you

Small update, I have been side tracked with another build I started but I had a little bit of time this morning to spray the grill and add some finishing touches. I was going for a more subtle yet tougher look than original so I went with flat black. Clear coat should be hitting the body this week!

Thanks! It has a very fine metallic flake when the light hits it correctly, pictures do not do the color justice. It's Duplicolor BFM0340 Royal Blue if anyone is interested.

Finally got some time to spray some paint on the body. First paint job in my booth! Very happy with this color and how it came out. Clear coat is next on the list!

Can not wait to see this finished!

	Amazing builds!

Well finally made a paint booth and had some time off of work and was able to get some spraying done today. Primed the hood and body, but the body will need some work. The hood actually took it's first coat of color! And of course this wonderful disaster! As I went to turn the body around the front hit the filter inside the booth and the primer was still fresh. Left me with this, I'll sand and re-prime when I get the chance. On a positive note the first coat of color went on great! Can't wait to add some more and clear it!

Absolutely amazing. -
I wish I knew they were just going to throw it out I would have tried to make use of it even for parts. I already returned it for the 1940 ford custom truck and I test fit it right in the parking lot to make sure haha!

Ok thank you guys! I'm going to see if I can just return it.

Hey everyone, So today I was in hobby lobby and had a coupon and decided to put it to use and bought the Revell 56 ford f100 pickup for a future build this year. Instead of just throwing it on a shelf until I was ready to start it, I was too excited so I opened it up just to do some test fitting and was very disappointed. I tried the hood first and of course it doesn't sit correctly at all! Has anyone else ever had this issue with this kit?

I really admire you're builds they're immaculate. Great job on this one

I actually ordered a bilge blower (brushless) and am waiting for the arrival. Should be here in the next couple of weeks. Once I have some more time ill decide where I'm going to build it etc. I'll be sure to post up the results!
