  1. I don't see where he's gone. Looks like someone removed a post or two of his from another thread, but that's all I can find.
  2. Have you ever seen the velocity stacks in the original AMT '66 Riviera? They look similar to what you're going for. https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/amt-instructions/automotive-cars--pi/buick/amt-1966-buick-rivi/66riviera.html
  3. Very sharp! Well done and model on!
  4. Wow, sorry to hear that about George. I know his health hasn't been the best for a while now but I always look forward to seeing him.
  5. That Honcho is looking good! I bought this kit intending to turn it into the military version (I actually got to drive one, once) but after looking at it, decided it would be WAY too much work. I might build mine in an OD or camo paint job anyway, just 'cause I can.
  6. I believe the L88 cars were delivered without heaters, and maybe without radios too. They were supposed to be for "off road" use. Good looking engine. I see you got the intake and heads mated up, looks a lot better now! BTW, I should be seeing our mutual friend at the toy show tomorrow.
  7. I was gonna say the MPC Switchers but you added them. The MPC '57 and '60 Corvettes also offer a lot of options, everything from factory stock (ish) to custom, rally, sports racing, Bonneville, and drag.

  9. Different and therefore interesting! Well done and model on!
  10. How about: Revell--Selling You Hope and Despair Since 1950?
  11. I sure did. You're added now. Sorry 'bout that, Geemoney. GITTER DONE!
  12. Absolutely! Drag it on down to the Great Completion Build Round 2 and GITTER DONE!

I could have/should have had that stupid '57 Corvette done by now if I hadn't kept getting distracted by all those STUPID SHINY SQUIRRELS! Two full months left, plenty of time to GITTER DONE, gang! Anyone else want to join the fun?
  14. No, a PT Cruiser on jelly donuts. New TLC show: My 6000 Pound Street Rod Life.
  15. Nice save! Model on!
  16. The teardrop hoods are very cool! Do you have them for the AMT '65 Falcon and AMT '66 Mustang?
  17. BTW, I'm still looking for a stock hood for this kit molded in ORANGE, if anyone has one.
  18. Did Revell or Monogram ever do a '75 Pontiac Sprint or stock Vega?
  19. '70 AAR Cuda?
  20. I googled that and still have no idea what you might be talking about.
  21. My Rite-Aid had three of them at one point--red, black, and I think white, or maybe it was silver. I ALMOST bought one, but they had an even Shinier Squirrel for me that week I just had to have.
  22. What were you hoping to see?
  23. I'm very familiar with the mindset, especially in Model Airplane World. I have several friends who will buy the newest "Wonderkit," and then EVERY piece of resin available for it, and EVERY bit of PE and three or four decal sheets and maybe a couple of books, and just about the time they get everything together, some NEW Wonderkit hits the market, they lose interest in the current project, and the cycle begins again. I've bought several such "projects" with all sprues still sealed in bags and complete with resin, PE, and decals for a few bucks less than the kit alone originally cost. Ya gotta love those Shiny Squirrels!
