The white/blue one was owned and raced by Veryon Mr Leno talks about him and the car history at the start of the video It is worth a fortune and even more since it's lineage was discovered I have a little $10 glue bomb from E Bay coming...seller wasn't sure of make or scale Maybe I will try to duplicate the blue/white on it

Bob, do you coat the metal parts with lacquer or something so they don't' rust??? -
And now for something completely different, a Revival 1/20 Bugatti Type 35 Interesting all metal kit, it reminds me of a mini Pocher with screws and wires in little baggies, instructions in Italian, but well diagramed. This will be a fun build of one of my all time favorite cars Should build out to something like this 1:1

That is pretty darn sweet!

Fixing up the label...it cannot be engraved as the black has already been removed So need to do black letters on top in the silver rectangle Remembered some dry transfers and they worked well. Need to go get #ers for the year I will do a final pic when I get it all done
-
That is a beautiful car, Skip. I love the long hood and flow of the lines in body and fenders Burgundy paint, whitewall tires and matching wheels caps also sweet

Thanks Ryan, it is pretty detailed and good casting I am pleased that the Fujimi kits are like Tamiya...positive seating for parts coming together, no guesswork. The engine and transmission mounts fit the frame perfectly I am waiting on some PE and don't want to get too far ahead of myself and have to tear stuff apart Not posting until the engine gets done ...God I am so slow!!!

This is as far as I got this weekend, painted Tamiya flat aluminium with Mig oil wash

Hey man, your pictures have walked away...nooooooo

Cool stuff Glad you re-sprayed her, it looks much better and will turn out more realistic with a HINT of panel lines Note the emphasis there I will furthermore keep my big mouth shut and just watch and fawn over your build PS I like the Cat engine too btw, now if you just do an oil wash.........

So I got to here late last night about 2AM with the F40 Was worried the engine supports wouldn't line up with the framework, so I glued up the block and transmission on the frame. Problem was I left the forward transverse bit on the frame while I glued up the oilpan. Had it all clamped up and everything, then had to tear it apart. Little bit of pry damage to one seam, but hopefully not visible. IDIOT ....that is what happens when being too careful I made a little engine stand just for fun while cement was drying

I think this PE just looks like random bits done twice over I wanted the brake rotors, foot pedals and gated shifter bezel. The rest, not so sure what they are if anything. I am certain it will come with detailed instructions...ha ha That Lambo will look sweet when you get her going.....most engine and tranny detail is hidden anyways
-
I purchased some photo etch for the F40 (and a Testarossa as it turns out) from E bay last night. Have never used PE before, so may need some help and tips with it Anybody use R/C car wheels for their builds before?? I found some cool black 5 spoke star mags with a red stripe...kind of like my real BMW has Haven't done anything on the bench all week...getting kinda ansy

I was poking through the kit reading the pamphlet on the left and found a spider egg nest stuck to the paper inside. Yikes! I squished them in a tissue and chucked it away. Think i will set that on fire tonight. That would have been an awesome colony of foreign spiders trapped in a plastic tub crawling all over this Gran Sport kit I must have missed it when I was disinfecting everything else.

This is absolutely my kind of car!!! ....and the huge Airfix 1/12 box stares at me from the shelf Not ready to start it yet for both time and skill reservations and b/c it deserves to be done properly.... as Harry has done again with this one You were very quiet about this repair effort. What is on the agenda for your next build?? I have a Revival 1/20 Bugatti type 35 coming along from Italy..that is one of my dream cars
