  1. Haven’t seen one of these in years. Not common in the UK! Colour suits it. Can anyone provide a year? Thanks steve
  2. Clever and amusing model and story. steve
  3. I think Snake was having a bit of fun at my expense... steve
  4. Looking at the models on this board, the general trend seems to be for post-1929 vehicles, with a noticeable lack of Model T-based vehicles. When I was more in touch with trends in rods in the mid 1960s to early 1970s, the kits in the shops and the prototype mags I saw back then were heavily T-based from what I remember. Have I missed something, or has the T fallen out of favour in modelling and/or the real thing? steve
  5. I’m sick to death of the endless plastic tat being aimed at children in TV advertising and online. All these stupid little dolls and pseudo animals. It all ends up as either landfill (mostly) or if you’re lucky, recycled. A total waste of natural resources. Most of the programmes on commercial TV are just excuses to sell spin-off toys, adding to the problem. All it does is turn the children into obsessive consumers wanting more and more junk. That’s my rant of the day. steve
  6. Excellent build. steve
  7. Seen in my local garage. Given the choice between one of these or an MGB, I would take the Alpine. steve
  8. Nice work. The original was the first view of a hot rod I ever saw in a glimpse of the original TV series in 1950s. Until then, I never knew such vehicles existed. Nothing really equivalent in the UK then. steve
  9. Why not one sensible, practical system that ensures all vehicles are safe to be on the road? it works here. steve
  10. I knew the make as soon as I saw it but I just cannot locate the model. steve
  11. Smashing little rod and excellently constructed. steve
  12. Perhaps the owner of the red one stores CDs in there... dteve
  13. Really neat and plausible. Good stuff. steve
  14. This is amazing. A superb example of imagination crossed with skill. steve
  15. Three conspiracy theorists walk into a bar. Coincidence? steve
  16. Or just product placement... steve
  17. An amazing collection. The Metropolis and Tetanus are just gorgeous and I think he improved the Bentley no end. However. if I was given a choice of one to keep, I'd take the Panhard. A great street sleeper! steve
  18. Just to be clear, I’m merely curious as to their prevalence. It doesn’t bother me in an way. As for drinking it? Never in a million years. That applies to all and every other brand or flavour of cola too. Cheers steve
  19. If anything, it looks worse from the front... steve
  20. Blimey. I remember that one. I think I rejected it when it came out as was too mundane a car. ? The decisions you make when you're young... For some reason I cannot for the life of me remember, I didn't build their Capri either. Bet they go for silly money these days! steve
